Ricky's Country Restaurant - Abbotsford

Company I work for always chooses this spot for meetings, for their kind, quick work the staff, especially our usual waitress, Jean, brings us.

Jean is lovely. Place feels like stepping back into the early 2000’s in a good way.

Jean did an excellent job helping my whole crew for breakfast.

My wife had a club house it was good I had fish platter the fish was greasy fishy not fresh the shrimp was chewy and slightly fishy not fresh my kids had chicken strip so they were average but the French fries they have all of us were far from crispy like they advertise they were the worst fries I ever had so if you have ever worked in a restaurant you blanch cool off and then fry them a second time to get crispy well these fries tasted and felt like they were only blanched they were soggy no color just horrible come on rickies if you would have cooked the fries I would have returned but I won't go back due to greasy and way under cooked fries

A really bad choice. Horrible service and COLD food. Embarrassing to say the least

Fun brunch out with a group. Everyone was able to find something to suit their taste on the menu. My neighbour chose a large bowl of cooked oatmeal with raisins on the side and declared it delicious. My Eggs Bene were perfectly cooked as was the hollandaise. Shredded hash browns were a special treat too. We enjoyed having the large self serve coffee pots on the table for convenience. A busy bustling place that has good parking and easy hwy access.

This has got to be the best Ricky's location to try out in the Lower Mainland! I would also like to commend the server Ashley!🙂 She was friendly, personable, and did not give off any impression that it was a chore to be working there. The thing about this location is it has kept a lot of their old menu options from when it was ABC Country Restaurant. I don't know of any other Ricky's that has done that. The dessert menu is especially attractive!

Been there before as well covid so miss the display at the entrance. Still have nice older items to view around the place. Service is usually good.

I usually order takeout from here. Go there to pickup and enjoy my breakfast . But Today i had an unpleasant experience, and made me not wanna come here again. I placed a takeout order online at 9:30 , supposed to pickup at 9:55 , was there at 9:50. The host asked me and then went in kitchen and never came with a response. I was just waiting and waiting at front , she was helping others. I waited till 10:05 asked her again she said just couple minutes more. At 10:10 she came up with a wrong order, and asked me to pay. I explained her again my order, she again goes to back, still no response. At 10:15 i was handed my order by other server. So was supposed to pick up at 9:55 but had to wait another 20 minutes with no knowledge of what’s going on or why is it taking long. I had to go to work after my meal, but as i was already 20 minutes behind , I just had come home get ready and went straight to work without having any meal.👎👎👎

Usually great, food always hot and tasty. Went there this morning for my b-day breakfast and waited and waited to be seated. The waitress looked at us and nothing, then she grabbed menus and I'm thinking finally, nope.... she went and dropped them off the menus at a table. At that point we left. Very disappointed, the loaded hashbrowns are my favorite!

If you want to wait a minimum of 20 minutes to be seated and then wait at least 30 minutes to try to get the attention of a grumpy server, feel free to come try and eat here. I will be honest. I can't truly rate the food as we didn't eat here . We left, as almost an hour in, and the grumpy server begrudgingly brought a kids menu. That is the last we saw of her. We left as we actually wanted to eat.

A really poor meal. Quality of roast beef needs to improve. Gravy seemed to be packaged. Disappointed.

Nice restaurant in Abbotsford. We attended dinner after the pigeon show. This was a very nice event.
