The oysters are always so good! The food and drink were great. It really sucks the Abbotsford location is closing :( !!
Experience was great! Restaurant wasn't very busy. Service was great! Just make sure you ask for the Happy Hour Menu til 5:30pm wasn't on the table. Drink specials were great as well!
It is to bad they are closing. I really like it there. The only issue was the potatoes were cold. I am going to miss the place
Steak was mediocre. Mac and cheese Sticks burnt. Steak came out rare instead of medium well. Beer advertised as draft came in can. Won't be back
Service was excellent, we enjoyed a variety of dishes (hero bowl, steaks, chop chop salad) and all was good, nice decor with comfortable large booth seating for 4. It was a quiet Sunday night. Will definitely return.
First of all, the servers were great, attentive and very nice. A handful of our party ordered steak, including myself. It arrived lukewarm at best, as did the others. I understand with a larger party it is more challenging for a kitchen to have everyone's order ready at the same time, but it was a Saturday night and we had made a reservation. We actually smelled our steaks cooking we thought, but food didn't arrive to our table for 20 minutes after that, which made sense based on the temperature of the meat when we tried it. There was also another large party with a reservation so they had advance warning to make sure there was adequate kitchen staff to deal with their reservations, but based on the food quality, I wonder if they did. One party ordered lobster rolls that arrived overcooked and tough, so they remade them and that took about 15 minutes to arrive again at which point most of the table was almost finished eating. The draft Innis & Gunn was flat and only slightly cool. Definitely a disappointing meal at a place I have had much better at before.

We have been to this restaurant repeatedly and have always been very happy. Since we think this was a one off bad night we will message the restaurant privately
Very good birthday dinner with delish birthday fresh baked cookie ! Thanks S&L. Great food and service !
We had a great time. We stopped here on our way to Vancouver to wait for the traffic to get better and were happy to find oysters on the menu. William has been amazing and fun with us with good advices too. Hanger beef is the best ! Thanks again!

My spouse and I attended here for a quiet Monday birthday celebration. This was our first visit.
It has a lovely interior and the ambiance and service were very good.
We had Happy Hour cocktails to start. My partner had a Vice Versa (cocunut flavours) and I had a Lemoncello Spritz. They were so good we ended up having a second round.
We shared two appetizers; Fried Mac & Cheese Sticks and Wagyu Beef Potstickers. Both were yummy.
My spouse then had a 6 ounce Top Sirloin Steak dinner as her Main and I opted for a Seafood Chop Chop Salad (prawns, salmon and lobster). Both were very delicious.
We then ended our night of birthday food debauchery by sharing a dessert of Black Forest Chocolate Sphere washed down by B-52 and Spanish Coffees respectively.
it certainly was a special Monday afternoon/evening in a pleasant higher end restaurant.

The food was hot and fresh. The portions were more generous than usual and the cook on the hanger steak (not always easy on that cut) was perfect.
Food was ok and Luke warm at best… I would probably come back for happy
Hour . There was a baseball game on. Which just ruined the vibe even tho it wasn’t busy . Service was good .

The restaurant was quite empty. Very different from our last visit. It was a Monday night but still surprising. We were greeted and seated promptly. We were given complimentary warm potato pull apart buns....these are on the appetizer menu. These were quite dry and I would have been disappointed if I had ordered and paid for them. We shared a side of calamari. I love calamari and I'm not picky but these were very chewy. Like they had been fried cooled and then refried. Our drinks were taken care of and refilled. Main dishes were very good. Chicken tender, steak frites and hand held Master chicken. The prices are on the higher side. Waitress was good.
We went for my 66th birthday from a referral by a friend and I’m so glad we did. Everything was so good. The atmosphere was relaxing and the live music was outstanding. Our server was fun and attentive. The food was of quality, cooked perfect and full of flavour.

Went there for anniversary dinner. Ordered the steak they didn't have it tried to get the wagyu but lone behold they also didn't have it.. service was shit because we were told that there was just 20 steaks Ordered but there was 5 ppl in the place. We left and went to Lou's. Now I can say lou's grill is a much better place they have what your looking for and exceptional service. I will never go back to S+L
