Pleasant staff, good food

Very skimpy plates. Eggs Benedict on one slice of bread and on the side were deep fryed frozen potato tots,the sausages on another plate were old and greasey, the avocado and egg was also on one small piece of bread. Very disapointed in our meals Will not return

Why anyone would waste their time or money on this location. I ordered through skip one of their meal ticket brands, while working on a construction site close by. The actual receipt on the bag even says it’s going to a construction site. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out, hey maybe throw some cutlery in the bag.

I, and skip support called this venue collectively 6 times to ask to ensure there was cutlery in the bag. No answer. So skip updated the driver notes and notes on the order, which because of this are unable to refund.

Yes refund - no cutlery. There I was on a road, absolutely starving with no way to eat my food. I called s + l directly to ask them to simply remake the order, as it would not be food safe to eat something with cream hours later after it being in the sun. They refused. I guess the head chef claims it’s a refund.

So rather than try to go above and beyond for someone that decided to give their establishment business, they essentially told me oh well, don’t care.

Hey S+L, you had an opportunity to get a new customer, who’s new to the area to come back and actually dine in. That opportunity has been lost. After working for JRG for years, if your head chef was so worried about it being a refund - it’s called use the make it right promo code. A fraction to you guys, to help my order not be a complete waste. Not to mention you all failed to answer your phone 6 times, completely ahead of time. Had you just answered, this could have all been avoided. You’ve also lost a customer for life. Congratulations. No wonder JRG is broke.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The location is poorly managed, and the customer service was shockingly bad. My dish was terrible, so I returned it. After paying and leaving the restaurant, the manager, Josh (if I recall correctly), rudely told me to “never come back.”

Since October, I’ve been trying to address this unacceptable behavior. I’ve emailed Samantha, the operations manager, twice and included George, the VP, in my correspondence. I’ve called customer service multiple times and even reached out to Ashley, the manager at the Langley location, to see if she could escalate the issue. Despite all this effort, I’ve received no response.

This level of disregard for customers is beyond disappointing. I’m sharing this here in the hopes of finally getting a response to explain why I was treated so disrespectfully.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. I had the Harvest Chicken while my wife had steak, and both were absolutely delicious. The waitress was very kind and did a wonderful job, we'll be back soon.

I went in for dinner and sat and sat and no one brought me a menu. I was by myself. Meanwhile staff are all going back and forth chatting with each other and telling each other 'love you'. I finally got up and left without ordering.

The potatoes in the soup were raw and uncooked, the $25+ hamburger was a meat patty from Safeway (at best) and small smattering of Mcains frozen fries cooked in vegetable oil.
