The most nutrient dense, protien packed, folic acid free, no horrible bleached white flour, tons of good fiber. What else could you want. Don't eat Wonderbread like a dummy, that stuff is poison. This is the best quality, large-production bread in all of North America, and I never feel guilty eating it. ?
P.S. They just started stocking bagels in several locations and somehow they are even better than the loaves.
Love this bread.
Bestest breads ever and customer service!! I've been loving their products. Looking at the negative reviews, mistakes happen, and it should be discussed with owners or management prior to blasting companies online. Shameful "adult" behavior!
honestly never thought I could say a bread made a difference in my life but this one did.
As a loyal Silver Hills supporter for years, it saddens me to have to compose this review. Within the past year, I've actually noticed an overall shift and depletion in the quality of their breads. As a vegan, I was pleased by the compilation of nutrients, low calorie, and fiber packed within their breads. However, this morning, when my mother was about to eat a bagel for breakfast, she stumbled upon someone's fingernail! We were utterly disgusted and taken aback. We are disturbed by this and want to publicize our experience so that others take caution before eating their breads.
We buy omegamazing, it has gone sour before the best before date with the last 2 loaves, as well we have had a loaf that was cut while either under baked or still hot....we will not be buying any of these loaves again with such a high price....used to be such good bread not sure what is happening......
Your bread is a new addition in our local Save Easy store here in St. Stephen NB and as such I purchased a loaf yesterday. I find the bread to be a very pleasurable combination of taste, texture and nutrition and you are to be commended for making such a quality product.
Love you guys but bad things are happening with your "Little Big Bread". I've been buying it for years now and the last two loaves I've had to throw in the garbage because inside the bag it smells like nail polish remover. There is this chemical smell that's so strong that I'm not even sure if the bread is safe to eat. Please look into cause I love this bread.
The Squirrely bread is sure not the same as it used to be. Texture is dryer than before and the loves have shrunk in size dramatically. This used to be favorite bread
Hi there.. no complains about your product, I love love the thinner sliced loaves..but what I don't love and you should be aware that I bought a loaf from Walmart and it was expired date by almost a week... reminder to me to check dates

I bought one of their breads online from a Quebec merchant who, for some reason, does not publish the nutritional values of the products he offers online (“Metro” Market).Unfortunately, this bread, despite its good taste, contains a huge amount of sodium, i.e. 440 mg for two very thin slices (80g). Way too much for me...Unfortunately, nothing is in French on the Silver Hills Bakery website, even if we sell products in Quebec.I wrote to them to this effect, without response. We want our money, but without effort.
I live in Sherbrooke, QC and just bought a Silver Hills bread at 30% off (really expensive bread that often end up sold at reduced last day sale). I realized after buying that this bread was made 46 hr drive (4,669.3 km) via I-90 E from my home!!! Can't imagine the carbon footprint of such food product!! No surprise our planet climate has been changed.
Poorest management and production standards in plant
I've always really enjoyed these breads. I like the texture, the grains and seeds, and how it doesn't make me feel bogged down after eating it. But, I have noticed recently that the size of the loaves is smaller. They've also discontinued my favourite, Steady Eddy. I wonder what happened to it! I've never had a bad experience with Silver Hills, so I was surprised to see so many negative reviews.
Bread size is so much smaller and the price at save on is over $7 a loaf. As a long time buyer of your product I am so disappointed.
