Absolute garbage chai, taste horrible and overpriced at $7.19, you’re going to an Indian restaurant and you get tea bag chai for $7.19 ridiculous. Horrible chai do not go

I went to SippChai for the first time, and honestly, it was a disappointing experience. The place was completely full, so I stood there waiting, unsure of where to order. There were no employees around to guide me, which was already frustrating.

When someone finally showed up, she was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Instead of politely directing me, she snapped at me, saying, “You have to order here.” It’s not my fault if their setup is confusing, and it’s definitely not the customers’ fault if an employee doesn’t like their job.

A little kindness and better customer service would go a long way. First impressions matter, and unfortunately, mine wasn’t great. Not sure if I’d come back.

Barista was horribly rude, nearly had me in tears. The donuts were mediocre at best.

I love sippchai. Owner is so kind and genuine. Truly a great guy. However, wanted to go in this evening and they were closed early at 7:30pm. I knew their hours so I deliberately picked coming at this time cause I knew they'd be open. There is no issue with closing earlier, but at least have your posted hours reflect that, or leave a note if an unexpected early closure. Otherwise, love this place!

The new customer service representative is the worst I've ever encountered.

I’ve always admired small, local businesses, but my recent experience at SippChaiCafe has completely soured my view of them. I was left feeling humiliated and utterly disrespected.
I was patiently waiting in line, ready to enjoy a quiet moment with a latte, when the owner abruptly interrupted the queue. Instead of taking my order, they rudely dismissed me, saying, “I don’t like your energy today. The door’s right there.”
This was incredibly hurtful and disrespectful, especially as the owner proceeded to take orders from customers both before and after me. It’s clear that this behavior is not isolated and reflects a pattern of poor customer service based on subjective perceptions of “energy.”
I’m still baffled by the owner’s behavior. It’s a shame that such a small act of kindness, like serving a latte, can be tainted by such cruelty. I hope others will think twice before supporting a business that treats its customers with such contempt.

Google.says they were open on Tuesdays. I arrived at 11am to find the restaurant was closed.

Quiet and cozy place, with good service, especially with distinctive attention from the owner. He speaks and is attentive to each client...
Very good customer service
I do really like the time I spent there. As a NYC resident, I will visit again every time I go back to BC, 🇨🇦

I came for the chai only and asked which chai had the most spice flavor. I was advised to get the Masala Chai. I have had chai in many countries and many restaurants, and none have been this bad. I ended up throwing it away because it had no flavor. I took a sip, and it tasted of extremely weak tea with only a hint of cardamom. I opened it up and found black tea bags floating in water with a splash of milk, 2 green cardamom pods, and one clove spike. I left it to infuse longer, hoping it would get better and added some honey, to no avail, it was the worst chia I have ever had. Powdered chai is better. I am extremely disappointed since that is the only reason I drove to this restaurant. Almost any coffee shop has chai on the menu, and this was a chai focused cafe I was hoping for at least as good as an Indian restaurant. Instead, I wasted my money on something anyone could make. Even if it was just chia tea bags in from the store steeped in milk, I would have been less disappointed.

Nicely furnished and decorated. Had a large traditional Chai, and whereas they use what appears to be a commercial pre-packaged blend, they add cardamom, cloves, and other spices for a nice overall flavor and aroma. It lacked body, which is why I didn't give it a 5 star.
And large size is large! The largest serving I've been served at a coffee shop ever.
Jazz arrived towards the end of my visit, and his personality and aura were very refreshing and motivating. That made my day.
Will certainly go back next time I am around Abbotsford.
The pecan pie was a good-sized portion and enjoyable.
