The food was fantastic. Am from south india and i believe me the chef is great. Brought me back home with the fish curry. Tried a few places but this was outstanding. Definetly a must try. Staff very friendly and nice.

Awesome restaurant, very authentic. Had the chili paneer and absolutely loved it. My parents had the palak paneer masala and thoroughly enjoyed the taste. This is the only real authentic Dosa place in town.

Really bad quality. This is not how South Indian food tastes like. The chef is not from South India for sure. Cannot make a half decent beef roast! Also they just heat up frozen porotta from the store. First and the last time here. Seemed like a poor attempt in making Keralan food 😁

Southern spice is my go to restaurant when I am at Abbotsford and have visited countless times. I personally would recommend chicken biryani, chill chicken, fish curry and beef biryani. Southern spice new spot ambience is spot on and Arsh the server is lovely sweetheart with great service. Will be back soon to try out the new dishes. The picture is beef biryani.

This is the first restaurant where I saw frozen Walmart paratha being served, it’s such a disgrace to southern food standards where everything is made fresh. I would recommend saving your money and just make a run to Walmart as you can get the same food for lesser price.
