Disappointing Experience at This Subway location

I’ve never had such a frustrating experience at a Subway before. The staff consistently try to use the absolute minimum amount of ingredients—barely any veggies, almost no meat, and definitely not what you’d expect when you specifically ask for extra. Even when I asked for extra banana peppers or sauces, they put one or two pieces/drops like it was coming out of their own paycheck.

What made it worse is that they wouldn’t even provide a bag without insisting on the extra charge. I don’t mind paying the 25 cents, but I had to really emphasize that I was paying for it, and the attitude felt like I was inconveniencing them. The whole interaction was unnecessarily rude and uncomfortable.

Not sure if it’s family-owned or if the owner is the one serving, but the behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable. It’s disappointing because customers shouldn’t have to fight just to get the ingredients and the product they've paid for.

I went to subway today around 7:55pm, the restaurant was clean. Harman was the girl who had helped us. She had great customer service skills and made our sandwiches correct and fast. Thank you harman for a great service we will be coming back for sure.

I am writing to complaint regarding my experience at this Subway location on Sept 18, approximately 8:30 AM.
I visited this store to purchase a 6-inch Italian bread chicken sandwich with shredded cheese and lettuce as a school lunch for my daughter. The server charged my credit card $8.39 before the sandwich was even prepared, but did not provide a receipt for the transaction.

After the sandwich was assembled and just before it was wrapped, I noticed the bread was soaked in water on one side, which would have made it completely soggy by the time my daughter had lunch. I politely requested the bread be changed. Instead of accommodating this reasonable request, the server behaved rudely, refused to change the bread, and declined to make a replacement sandwich—even when I offered to pay again for a new one.

What is even more concerning is that the server kept the original sandwich I had already paid for, effectively leaving me without the product I purchased. This is both unfair and unacceptable.

When I asked to speak to the manager or store owner, I was denied any information and offered no resolution. Furthermore, I noticed that no business license or permit was displayed in the store, which raises additional concerns about compliance with business operation rules in British Columbia.

Hope to receive explanation of why this behavior occurred and why I was denied reasonable service.
Confirmation of corrective action to ensure no other customer has to face such treatment.

Today we went to this location there are just one person working they need atleast two person because there are big line up. Every one waiting for 20 minutes

The store itself has a nice, clean ambiance, but that’s where the positives ended for us. The entire experience was ruined by an incredibly rude employee. I made a simple request to have the cheese placed on my sub before the meat, and she became visibly annoyed and made us feel like we were a major inconvenience.
The whole point of Subway is to build your sub your way, but we were treated poorly for doing just that. To top it all off, when we asked for a simple sandwich bag for our take-out order, she rudely informed us it was chargeable. I have been to countless other Subway locations, and they always provide a sandwich bag graciously. The pathetic service from this one employee completely killed what could have been a decent visit.

Vegetables were not fresh. Worker rang in the woman in front of us, then came back and finished making our sandwiches without changing his gloves. Unhygienic.

Very Bad Experience at this location One guy he speak very rude with us date 3.August.2025 time 11.45. And We ask for one paper first he said yes i will give it to you, when i see my subway he don’t fill properly I said that please fill it properly he speak very rude and said that northing Extra for you, if store manager read this message please reply. Very Bad never visit.

Firehouse is way better, but this is way cheaper.

As I reached there, worker(girl) was servicing a customer at the cashier counter. Once she done, came to take my order without changing her gloves. Halfway through as sandwich was in oven, she went to machine made me pay, yet didn’t change gloves. In future, I will just stay away from such bad service.

Ordering online is waste of time here. Every time, they don’t have some ingredients or the product (eg onion rings) and need to wait again at the store.

Rude staff there, no hello or thank you. Put on bare minimum or toppings and his got a poor personal hygiene. Disgusting.

Avoid this location, if possible. Not a lot of traffic, ingredients not fresh (nor do they have all of the sandwich options on menu available). Bread was so incredibly stale. Emailed to discuss and got a generic reply from franchise owner. Will choose a different location next time

The , um, artist helping me genuinely asked how my day was going. Asked questions in reference to my responses, and made me dinner. Also very clean. Also, it's been a while since I've been to subway, their menu has improved.
