It is to bad they are closing. I really like it there. The only issue was the potatoes were cold. I am going to miss the place

Steak was mediocre. Mac and cheese Sticks burnt. Steak came out rare instead of medium well. Beer advertised as draft came in can. Won't be back

From the moment we we were seated, we were made welcome! Water was brought in right away followed by the menus. The staff were super friendly and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. We were given plenty of time to choose our food and drinks. The ambiance was nice and the music not too loud, (Us older people like it on the quiet side) and it was just perfect. The appetizer was past grate and the presentation was just amazing. We both enjoyed each our entree to the max. Again the presentation was awesome! Kudos to the kitchen staff. Finally, our server was so helpful, yet discreet, he provided all the answers to our questions for the entrees and made us feel very special. Please give a thank you to your staff all around as our dinner was perfect in every way.

Service was excellent, we enjoyed a variety of dishes (hero bowl, steaks, chop chop salad) and all was good, nice decor with comfortable large booth seating for 4. It was a quiet Sunday night. Will definitely return.

We have been to this restaurant repeatedly and have always been very happy. Since we think this was a one off bad night we will message the restaurant privately

I've been there once but I've ordered from there and haven't had any complaints Our sever wasn't really attentive, ran out of water no fills, bread was cold and dry, food wasn't worth the price

The food was hot and fresh. The portions were more generous than usual and the cook on the hanger steak (not always easy on that cut) was perfect.

Service was great. Not many people for lunch. Food was excellent. Wine bottles were half price. Got spoiled with compliment desert

The restaurant was quite empty. Very different from our last visit. It was a Monday night but still surprising. We were greeted and seated promptly. We were given complimentary warm potato pull apart buns....these are on the appetizer menu. These were quite dry and I would have been disappointed if I had ordered and paid for them. We shared a side of calamari. I love calamari and I'm not picky but these were very chewy. Like they had been fried cooled and then refried. Our drinks were taken care of and refilled. Main dishes were very good. Chicken tender, steak frites and hand held Master chicken. The prices are on the higher side. Waitress was good.

We had a nice time. The music was a bit load and it was hard to hear - music is great but a bit too loud. We had a few meal issues but overall all was good.

Server tried to upsell us on absolutely everything. We ordered before the bread came out - which would have been nice of our server to tell us we get a complimentary bread before we ordered it as an appetizer. Then the salad I ordered came out without the cheese so we had to wait for that. Also up charged us on a beer - I ordered the Budweiser on tap (specifically) and he brought the bottle which is more expensive and less beer. Claimed after it was “due to the tap not working” but the table next to us ordered the same beer on tap with no issue. Also brought my husbands burger with bacon - we didn't order it but were charged the $3 extra for having it.

The appetizer was very good- the crab cakes and Caesar salad. But we received our main course 5-6 minutes after receding the appetizer. I said we just started the appetizers - so they took it back. Brought it back out 15 minutes later - the server said I made the kitchen change the sides. You can imagine how the steaks were. Terrible. She gave us a free dessert to make up but really I would have just wanted a good steak. This would never happen at the Keg who is probably the biggest competitor. That is where I would choose to go. I went here as I had the free birthday entree and thought ok I will try it again. Used to go to the S and L in Langley - good . The fact his that is you are a high price tag restaurant you have to have impecable service standards - not serve someone 20 minutes old steaks - no matter what. Ruins trust. .

Our server was new but very nice, attentive and friendly. Food was good although the chickpea appy was very small portion compared to what we had at another location.the patio is quite larger and as the sun went down , it was a very relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed our evening and when out in Abbotsford we will return.

The restaurant has deteriorated over the years. We haven't been in a few years and noticed the lack of upkeep, crayon on the booths, dirty bathrooms and hand dryer in ladies continually running making it stifling hot. Service was good but food was mediocre. I had the seafood chop chop salad and found the 2 prawns on in flavorless, the lobster mush ontop was unrecognizable as lobster, the smoked salmon lox was super salty and far too much dressing on salad.
