Lovely setting in garden nursery. Lots of selection and variety. Always delicious.
Went there in a quiet stat holiday - really nice atmosphere indoor and outdoor. They also have a variety of products display. The food was pretty decentđđ»the side salad was a good pairing with the main dish. The egg benny would have been too heavy without the salad. Ordered a hot americano; it was mediocre.
First time customer and now one for life! I bought in my mother and grandmother for Motherâs Day and the vibes were immaculate! Itâs was super busy but not a bother when youâre surrounded by such gorgeous gardens. Team were so lovely and the owners were even around checking on people- felt very taken care of on such a busy day.
My phone didnât get a chance to eat first but I had the sweet and salty french toast, and we had the smashed browns for the table. Both great!
Thank you for having us!
Very slow with food and coffee orders. They were overwhelmed on Mothersâ Day. And my coffee was made with a Keurig. I can do that at home.
I planned our Motherâs Day brunch here with my mom/mother in law. One coming from Langley, another maple ridge. We arrived before 11am and was told it was a 2 and a half our wait. I checked prior to planning, no reservations needed. If no reservations are needed, it shouldnât be that long of a wait.. and to wait standing in line is disappointing.. you couldnât even sit and enjoy the garden⊠let alone park. We left disappointed. Hopefully for special events, reservations can be added in the future.
Perfect little spot to venture to for brunch and mimosas on the patio! Beautiful garden and the food was amazing and fresh.
Went here for brunch a while ago and 100% would go back. DELICIOUS food, great coffee, and all for a reasonable. Cute apothecary with local vendors to walk around in afterwards.
We have been going here for years. It was sold last year but the food is still great.
I would love to give feedback, if I can figure out how to do that. I felt that 3 stars was an average review, and not necessarily negative. I gave the food 2 stars because I didn't care for the Roasted Sweet Potato chili I had ordered. My friend had a breakfast entree with eggs, bacon and fried potatoes. She enjoyed it, but it wasn't special...just breakfast.
This place has truly become one of my most favourite places to visit in Abbotsford. Not only are the food and drinks delicious (I LOVE the Blackberry Lemonade) but there's also a fabulous shop to wander through and beautiful gardens to walk through on a nice day. I also thoroughly enjoyed the Terror at Tanglebank experience last fall and can't wait to do it all again this year!

The food is beyond incredibleâbeautifully presented, full of flavour, and made with the freshest ingredients. Every bite is a delight! The service is outstanding; the staff is so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience.
And the storeâoh my goodness, itâs a dream! So many adorable and unique finds, from home dĂ©cor to gifts and artisanal goodies. You can easily spend time just browsing and discovering special treasures.
Great spot for lunch, can't wait to come back when the flowers start to bloom.
Absolutely thrilled with the Agora and Apothecary at Tanglebank Estate! As a long-time customer from the previous ownership, I was initially curious about the transition, but I'm now a forever fan under the new management. The farm-to-table food is simply incredible â fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. What truly sets this place apart is the warmth of the staff. Every server and team member greets you with genuine smiles and makes you feel like a lifelong friend.
The new owners are incredibly kind and have so many exciting plans for the future. Plus, keep an eye out for their adorable dog who sometimes makes a cameo! It's a delightful touch that adds to the welcoming atmosphere and having a dog friendly patio is fantastic!
I've been saddened to see some negative reviews that simply don't reflect the magic of this place. In my experience, any minor issue would be promptly and kindly resolved by the staff if brought to their attention. This is a small, local business that truly deserves the support and love of our community. If you're looking for an authentic, heartwarming experience with delicious food, look no further than the Agora and Apothecary at Tanglebank Estate. Highly recommend!
The older server was super rude and the owners were very cold and upfront
Have been going to Tanglebank for sometime, it is a hidden gem, or at least it was. It was a magical place to sit inside or outside for a meal, in spring or summer there was always beautiful plants to buy or you could browse the beautiful shop. Last September we went there whilst it was under the new owners, the food was not upto par we only ate half of our meals and the place just wasn't the same with some other things changed too. We didn't go back again last year but decided to give another try today and see how it was doing. Sadly the food yet again way under par, the coffee machine wasn't working, they only had decaf expresso, the shop only half stocked very few people in there. The atmosphere and magic has gone it used to be such a treat to go there. I understand new owners bring changes but sorry we won't be going back
