The Keg Steakhouse + Bar - Abbotsford

Food was certainly sub par for typical Keg standards Had prime rib sandwich and bread was rock hard and meat was sparse and very well done Bathroom needed attention Server was ok but certainly seemed like they would have rather been elsewhere I eat at the Keg a bunch when traveling because it is consistently good so this was a surprise and disappointing.

Observation rather than a complaint. From the moment I booked the table to arriving and being seated, everyone asked what we were celebrating to which I kept saying “ a MILESTONE birthday “. Nothing was done about it or said. 🥲 I ordered a Caesar salad and a crab cake appetizer. Instead of bringing me my salad when the others at the table got theirs both my plates came at the same time. Sadly I couldn't eat the salad because it had SOOOO much dressing it was more like a soup. Our server didn't come back until almost we were finished eating so she didn't know I wanted another salad. So I went without.

My wife and I enjoy going to the Keg for our anniversary each year for a great meal, the only issue I have is how loud the place is especially during Friday, Saturday night and that's besides the family's taking their kids along, I'm sorry but we like to enjoy a quite and stress free environment to enjoy our meal and socializing in a serene atmosphere. Our choice for next year's Anniversary will be to a different restaurant instead of the Keg in Abbotsford. This place is great for those who enjoy this kind of high energy atmosphere. Its only my personnel analogy of the Keg in Abbotsford.

My husband and I go to the Keg on special occasions. Today was his birthday. We had the pleasure of Shaye serving our table. She was fantastic. The food is consistently well prepared and delicious. Thank you Shaye!

So what we normally expect from a Keg experience didn't happen for us. We are only able to go about once a year on a birthday so we expect it to be pretty top notch. Food was low quality and smaller portions then we remembered. The manager did make up for it on the bill though but not sure if we would consider going back to this location.

Everything was overall to be expected my steak was more rare than usual but that's ok I don't mind. Everything else was 10/10

Everything excellent. Seating by a large table was very noisy. Conversation was difficult.

Wonderful prime rib and the baked potato was awesome. The waitress was attentive and nice to talk to. overall a great experience. Thanks to the keg. The manager was also great.

Little bit disappointed overall. The meal size was small more presentation of the plate vs the meal. Steak still good but meal was small size of vegs and mash potatoes.

Server was limited on table touching to see if we were good or refills/upsell of deserts. Customer should never have to flag someone for deserts menu or ask for refills or something else unless it’s a last minute decision.

Manage needs to invest more time in staff to give customers more wow experience so customers want to stick around longer to spend and be a repeat. One and done is poor business. Put qr codes on the tables, rated my service and feed back, it will be resourceful. Still gave 20% tip. Bill was over $175

Always hesitant about going to chain restaurants, however was impressed by the food and mostly importantly the service. Shout out to Robyn for being one of the kindest and most efficient servers we've had in a while. 10/10!

Was down visiting friends. Went to the keg as we don't have one in our home area. The 4 of us ordered. I ordered the teriyaki steak medium well. It came medium rare. They took it back and cooked it again, with no change. So the manager came by and spoke with me. Ordered a new meal and comped the dinner. We'll done and thank you. It was perfect that time. Another manager came by also to follow up. Great service

We have dine at the Keg for many years. Always enjoyed and found value in sharing a keg classic dinner, until recently. The last time, the caesar salad was terrible. Apparently some new recipe where there put some crumbs on the top which we didnt like. The dressing was different, utterly tasteless. No parmesan cheese shavings too.
The steak was dry and tasteless, which was also the same the previous visit. It seems the Keg has changed something about where they buy and or age their steaks. Very disappointing.
Service was good as always. However it was so loud people were yelling to talk - not a good atmosphere. We probably wont be going back.
