We made reservations for dinner before attending a concert then changed to bar seating so we could watch the Canucks. It was a fun atmosphere & service was excellent! Our server Kai was knowledgeable, recommending beer and cocktails, he was friendly & professional recognizing we were watching the game with a cocktail and not wanting to order our meals right away. When we did order, our choices arrived quick and were excellent! I had a wedge salad and prime rib sliders and both were delicious. My partner had the sirloin Oscar and he said it was perfect!! We shared a piece of Billy Miners pie for dessert ... very yummy! What a great night at the Keg, partly due the Canucks win :)

The Keg use to be a great place for a fantastic steak dinner. Now it's just an over priced restaurant, with the same cuts of meat you can purchase at the grocery store. The menu is limited and the happy hour menu is not great. The service was good and the ambiance is always good, but it's prices are driving my friends and myself away.

Steak was like rubber. Cold mashed potatoes. Prawns and scallops were bland and mushy. Probably won't ever go back. When you spend $150 on 2 meals, you expect the food to be top notch. Subway quality is better at a fraction of the price. Disgusting to say the least. The Keg has been going down hill for years. We should have known better.

Thank you for a wonderful evening. I came for my milestone 70 th bday. We were given a large area separate from other guests as there were 28 of us 5 of which were children. The food was amazing but best of all our main server Ava & her crew were spectacular!! We weren’t an easy crowd 3 toddlers running around with ballon’s excited about the night. Ava & the crew were so patient helpful always smiling I can’t imagine how they were able to provide us with dinner drinks & dodge little ones all with a smile on their faces. Will definitely be back next year as a Keg dinner is our family tradition & the Abbotsford Keg didn't disappoint..Thank you Ava & your crew of helpersDeborra Harris & family!❤️

Seated right away with water and bread immediately , cocktails and pop too. Waitress was very attentive....dinner was fabulous 6oz sirloin done to perfection, burger was the best my daughter ever had and their pops were always full. Very nice evening spent at The Keg ........no room for dessert ....

Feb 2024, This past weekend, I went to the Keg with 7 family members for my Birthday.Being seated in a back corner table for 6 & right by the servers P.O.S station, the 8 of us had to shuffle around for 10 minutes.After initial drinks & appetizers were ordered, mine & my friends mushroom caps arrived not fully baked, with the smallest BUTTON mushrooms I've ever seen, missing lemon wedges & appy forks and WHERE was the "stuffed" portion of the caps? it was more of a mushy smear :(We repeatedly had to ask for drinks & then my Prime Rib meal with Lobster/Butter arrived all cold AND my friends wife's double stuffed potatoe had tinfoil in it of which she also got a mouthful of...like going to the dentist.Sadly, the only decent part of the meal was my mom's cup of hot water, the free billy miner dessert & the vegan water.Usually a huge supporter of the Keg but am not seeing myself going back to the Abby Keg.Majorly missing quality control here.

Steak was tough and nit like any Bew York Striploin we have ever eaten The Mushrooms Neptune were awful - more like soup consistency- even second dish was inedible fir sane reason Very disappointed in food all around. However service was excellent!

We arrived at 5:20PM for our 5:30PM reservation ... we were seated at table #33 about 5:30PM Our order was taken almost immediately and we ordered everything ... wine ... Classic 10 oz. filet with a wedge salad and twice baked potato because we had a hockey game in Abbotsford to attend. The wedge salad arrived in a timely manner about 5:45PM which was fine and then we waited and waited. Finally I saw a floor supervisor at almost 6:30PM and asked him should we cancel our order or what should we do. He said he would check with the kitchen and moved our order to the top of the list! Well we barely had 15 minutes to wolf our Filet dinner down and out the door ... drive to the hockey game and get seated. All we could both taste was our rushed filet dinner while watching the game! "Something" was not right here!

My first visit to the Keg and Cleaver was in Victoria in 1972. Except for one rather less than best steak; for the most part the Keg has been exceptional! That's why I still go back. Some 40 years later.
