Really cute café if you have time to sit down and wait for your order. Unfortunately, service is not quick, waited 20min for an iced coffee with a medium sized crowd. Wish they would have more employees working at peak times as the one person making drinks can only go so fast. I want to keep supporting the local spots but it is hard to when it takes considerably longer than other spots.

I have come here a few times. I brought my friend who was out of town to the Palm cafe today. We ordered the 6" strawberry waffle and the avacado toast with egg and tomatoe. The girl making it took too long with our food. I seen her take my waffle out of the waffle maker and then she let it sit there for a good 10 minutes as she started chatting with her coworkers and then helped another customer. Finally when our food was brought to our table, I noticed the tomatoes were missing on my avacado toast. I mentioned it to her and then she took it back to cut some tomatoes ontop. By the time we ate our food it was very cold and not appetizing. The egg was also overcooked and cold. Will not be returning.

We are visiting friends here in B.C. and went shopping at the mall in Abbotsford. Whilst we were there we felt like we needed a little something to eat and drink and The Palm seemed very inviting. The atmosphere was still very Christmassy and the decoration was very pretty. My partner ordered the Nutella banana waffle and a Biscoff late which she really enjoyed, I ordered the avocado toast with tomato. It was and extra $7:50 for 2 cherry tomatoes and the toast was stone cold. I’m not sure if it was meant to be but I’ve had some phenomenal avo toast in my time but this was not one of them. Overall a decent experience but it depends on what you order.

I stopped by the Palm for a quick coffee and was disappointed. Got a peppermint mocha. The cup was about half full of (extremely sweet!) mocha and the rest was whip. For a $7.00 coffee I expected much more. Extremely sweet, not hot coffee, and took forever to receive my drink. I wanted to like this place but never again!

Really love their lattes, but the staff are so unfriendly and unwelcoming every time I’ve visited the cafe, so I will not be returning as I was left feeling uncomfortable multiple times. Barely a greeting or even a smile, if any, when I come in alone, with friends, or my partner and also how I’ve seen them with most other customers.
I really love seeing a former Starbucks become a locally owned cafe! The Palm is really, really cool. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else make coffee like they do.
I will say, the sweet treats are worth it, but the breakfast/lunch sandwiches have room for improvement. They taste good, but I do think they’re priced a bit too high.
Regardless, you should definitely consider grabbing a drink here if you’re at High Street.

We had the avocado toast with egg and lavender London Fog. Everything was so delicious. Friendly staff. The only thing I would complain about is the table we sat at was dirty. They had 4 staff members and it wasn't that busy .
