Lovely little place
Food and drinks were excellent. The only feedback I would give is how close the tables are when the restaurant is full. It's a busy place! Not alot of privacy. But a wonderful little gem

From the moment we arrived to second we left it was the epitome of unprofessional.
Seating us at a table so close to another table of 4 that we might as well have sat on their laps. Certainly we’re a part of their conversation.
Server frustrated us with her lack of personality or suggestions for the menu. At least we were able to walk behind staff chewing food at the front entrance. Always a good time being greeted that way.
Shout out to the person in charge for avoiding eye contact at the moment of exit. Beyond tired of this place and its lack of decent servers.

The Stealhead Salmon stole the show
Virgin Mojito was passable.
Service could have been more attentive and faster

It’s nice. Food is ok. Service was good. Atmosphere is a bit stark. Better outside in the summer months.

My partner and I booked a table last night. Reading the reviews, we had expected for the restaurant to be very busy. If you are looking for a more quiet or intimate dinner, Monday evening is the day to go!
My partner had the siciliano pizza, the size of the pizza was large which was great. Tasty too.
I had the short rib pappardelle. House red wine was nice. The star of the show was the garlic bread. The noodles were ok, slightly undercooked and gummy. I had a couple flakes of short rib, but there was not much at all.
We walked out of the restaurant feeling like we would like to try again, maybe only for lunch. However, we are not sure now as we both got home and had very sore stomachs!

Good options for brunch and food selection. Wish the size of some of the potions were a bit bigger.

Food was so so so so delicious - loved the mix of flavours and textures! Drinks were good when they finally came. Coffee refill took over 15 minutes, drink order was wrong - service was very very spotty for the level of restaurant. Light and ceiling fixtures were visibly dusty and the place had a cold-ish feeling that could have been fixed if service had been better. We had two different servers - but waited a long long time for refills, coffee, water - not okay at this level of restaurant. Cool atmosphere, but the dust level of things in the restaurant - like ceiling area and sconces took away from the feeling.

Went for brunch with a reservation on the Sunday before Christmas. The four of us enjoyed our food and drink however a bad taste was left in our mouths when having only been there for an hour, we were asked to leave because there was another reservation booked. There were other empty tables they could have used but no, instead they had the nerve to actually ask us to leave. Not sure I will return or recommend.

Outstanding flavours, great service. The engagement from the owner makes it a memorable visit. I have now been 3 times and highly recommend multiple items on the menu. Really good cocktails and the in house sauces are rich and tasty. Way better than going to a chain restaurant.
Table for 2, cramped in between other guests. Lukewarm water, had to ask for ice, served separately in another glass. Mentioned food was spicy, was offered a milk, declined it, not sure if that was to be added to the bill. Alfredo Fettuccine was a bunch of noodles, very little taste covered with pepper. Not worth the price paid for it. It was our second visit, since we had a $100. gift certificate. Last visit was in May on the patio, we enjoyed that one, but now less desire to come back again. Too bad.

We came in for a bachelorette dinner, as a group of past and present servers we were disappointed with our server, Avery I believe. She did not ask what the event was or acknowledge the bride, she awkwardly stood beside the table waiting for people to order when they didn’t know she was there (behind them), had to ask to order when ready, no dirty drink glasses were cleared at any point. The food was all placed to the person on the end then we had to disperse it accordingly. At the end when we asked for our bills, she stacked them down in a pile, 11 of them, and says we had to find our own as she “had things to go do”, we could then see her just walking around and chatting to other staff. She also failed to let the group know about the auto gratuity on each bill. Her face showed disappointment as she was checking the reciepts after each payment seeing we did not tip on top of the auto gratuity. She was a nice girl and could be great with some tips and training. The food and drinks were delicious, wish we just had as good of service.

I was there celebrating, solo, but still. My server wouldn't know that. I also don't know her name or anything.
The atmosphere is always right.
The peanut bowl was good although maybe a bit too much sauce to noodle ratio (I never say this! I love sauce)
Recco blackened tofu, it was so much yummier.
Vegetarian options: A few vegan options. They're all tasty.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten friendly options
Parking: Side street- make sure you're not in the resident permit parking area
Kid-friendliness: No kids menu
Wheelchair accessibility: Aisles are small. I would book ahead for a table near the door that has more space

A disappointing experience from a place self-described as "Approachable and artisanal" - the food was mediocre and the service downright neglectful.
My entre arrived before I was finished my starter, and was placed beside me, the unfinished starter remaining on the table to the end of the meal. The server checked in late into the meal; my fish was almost done by the time she asked if it was okay. My water glass wasn't refilled, sitting empty for the last half of the meal.
The food was only slightly better. The artichoke dip starter was bland (and served with taco chips), and the salmon was dry and its skin soggy. The presentation of the salmon was nice, but the chef was heavy-handed with the Cajun spice, overwhelming both the salmon and the vegetables. I didn't stay for coffee or desert, and left disappointed.
