Loved it here!!! Good food and drinks were awesome!! Only constructive thing I can say is the dishes could be cleaner!! A cup I had, had lip marks on it!
Waited at door at the "Please wait to be seated" sign for 10 minutes then found a table myself. Waited another 5... no service.. went back to the previously mentioned sign to collect 2 menus. Waited another 8 minutes trying to flag down a server. No service..... left. Bad service Only 1/10 of tables were occupied... not busy at all no excuse
Tried em out. Very happy with the food. Had fish and chips and beef dip as this is the standard pub fare and easy to compare. Fish was huge not too much batter for English style. The beef dip was next level though and the high rating is all about the beef not the toppings or the bread (even though crispy onions and ciabatta were nice). Beef was sooo good. Not like shaved rare roast (also good) but more like chopped up burnt ends of brisket. Tender and super flavourful. Au Jus...read full review
