The Tipsy Barrel Pub

My friend and I came in Friday night and the place was bumpin! We took seat while the DJ was getting the girls on the floor- our server acknowledged us right away, even though it was busy as hell. I didn't even think they had service at this point. Harvy (our server) was so attentive and funny! He has GREAT customer service skills- every answer to the questions I had left me laughing. I had a real shitty day before I came in, just looking for a drink to relax but the vibes were great here and I left sweaty as hell from dancing my ass off. Thanks to Harvy for adding to my great night.

I have not stepped through the doors of this building since it was the Duke of Dublin some many years ago. The food is good lots of options to choose from. The drinks are good and reasonably priced. The floor opens up after 9 for dancing. Our server Harvey was amazing we always had everything we needed and offered great suggestions. He went above and beyond for us. Was glad to feel the nostalgia again, and already excited for our next ladies night out at the tipsy barrel.

They are friendly and helpful with my wheat allergy. Music was ok, but I know older people probably wouldn't like it.
Coffee is good 👍 had the pork bites, big bites! And so much garlic, love garlic 😋. I don't recommend if you are on a date unless you are sharing... LoL
The artichoke dip was tasty. They replaced the chips for gluten free bun sliced, toasted as garlic bread .

Being honest I had hoped for better.I have been in sport bars before and visit some on a regular. But this place was a bit sad. The food was overpriced for the size we got. We started with appy and the wings where just sad in flavor and greezy. The fries where rubbery and no flavor also cold. The Chicken BLT was pretty grezzy and lacked on flavor. The veggies on it where ok as expected for a panini bread. The chicken burger was ok but taste had similar to a KFC chicken sandwich. The mimosa flight was pretty strong in the alcohol side. The water we ordered was milky and the glas on its own was still having finger prints and traces of the previous owner on it. The waitress did the best she could but seemed over worked and tired. For people who like good and flavourful food I would say give it a pass. For people who dont care but like big screens and alcohol to enjoy the games and barfood go for it .

19.35 for a double caesar?,did the bc union strikes hurt you guys that bad? Innovation needed, DJ cant be over 35, Place is dead for halloween, review before me says “lots of seating” save your time and money (bar isn’t crowded, only good thing)

Taylor was an incredible waitress for our fun halloween night out! We had great drinks, fun music, lots of options for seating, and the service was awesome.

Had an awesome time at Tipsy Barrel yesterday! The food was great, the atmosphere was nice, and the service really stood out. Jaya was super friendly and checked in often to make sure everything was good and she also gave great recommendations . The $3 beers during happy hour are a huge bonus too. Overall, a great place eat and enjoy a drink, we’ll definitely be back :)
