Decent food , unfortunately had a bad experience with a server where they told us what the special would be but instead gave us something else. The special was a spring roll which we wouldn’t have ordered if we knew what it was going to be. Our server flat out refused to replace it with what they TOLD us the special was going to be (vegetable gyoza). I’m so baffled that they wouldn’t accommodate for their own mistake by replacing the item.

I enjoy this place but sometimes I wonder why is their miso so bland. No green onion, zero tofu, just a miso paste mixed with water. You could cube one tofu block for 3$ and feed your restaurant for one day. I can’t stand cheapness. And now when I order a chicken teriyaki, it’s like half of a boneless thigh. Stop charging more and serving less.

It’s been 3 weeks since I arrived in Canada. We had a delicious lunch at Cheam sushi located in Agassiz, BC. I ordered raw rice and volcano roll, The hoedeopbap with red pepper paste base, vegetables and salmon was more delicious than the one I had in Korea, and the volcano roll was also special, combining East and West well. The service is good and the food is delicious. I enjoyed my meal gratefully.

Great little place, I'm vegan (not by choice medical issues) so finding a good sushi place with veggie options is hard to find, this place is awesome! Food is amazing, service fantastic, price is very good, may become my new favorite local place!
delicious. very accommodating if you want to make modifications (i needed the avocado/cucumber out of the crazy roll and it was no problem). great prices.

This was my first time at Cheam Sushi today! Hands down the greatest service and atmosphere, food was absolutely outstanding! I’m struggling with a sensory issue at the moment and today the staff was very accommodating to me <3. Definitely my new favourite sushi spot! Thank you so much!
