Prob some of the best chinese ive had. As per other commenters, the meal was slow coming out, but the waitress warned us the kitchen was slammed with take out orders before we ordered.

We had beef and brocolli and fat noodles. Both servings were generous and delicious. We will be back.

If you’re in a hurry, this is not the place for you. Don’t be surprised if it takes 40 min to an hour for your order to be ready. They also forgot to include any chop sticks. I found a dusty old pair in a drawer, but a $60 bill plus tip and no chop sticks included was pretty amateur.
Anyways, let’s discuss the food. I ordered spicy chilli wontons, sweet and sour pork, beef chow fun and a side of steamed rice. The beef chow fun was the best individual dish. Nice flavour, good chew, lots of tender beef, would recommend. The sweet and sour pork is pretty good, but eating any more than 4 or 5 pieces of this dish is a diabetes and heart disease diagnosis in the making. The chilli wantons were the absolute lowlight of the meal. I was expecting wontons in chilli oil, instead the wontons were floating in a strange pinkish sauce that tasted more like sweet and sour sauce than chilli oil. The wonton filling itself had a savoury flavour that did not compliment the sweat and sour sauce. Terrible dish. If there is anything you take away from this review, it’s stay away from the chilli wantons. You do not need these in your life.
I wanted to like this place more than I did in the end. Unfortunately, The only dish I would come back for is the beef chow fun, but I wouldn’t wait the 40 minutes to an hour for it to be made.

The service is horrible. The young lady was excellent with the take out orders but not good to the customers in the restaurant. Asking for something was difficult to get right away, it would take forever due to her telling us she’s busy with take-out orders. (Oh and one of the take out orders was for family) Sorry but we are customers inside your establishment and we get put on the back burner. My suggestion if you do want to eat here get it to go.(take out)

The food is ok, not the best Chinese’s food but edible.

If you have any left overs be sure to bring your own containers or go take a walk to dollar store to pick up some as they charge you $0.50 per container, yes I said that right, they charge you for to-go containers if you didn’t eat all the food.

You buy there food- spend over 70$ and you have to buy the containers if you want to bring your left overs home.

This alone makes me not want to ever go back to their establishment. Really, having to pay for the containers. Wow, that is a first!!!

Hope the owners read this and change their minds on charging customers for the containers, or they are going to loss more than $0.50 per container, they are going to lose customers.

So bad. I ordered a chicken black bean dish and it was just gobs of oil, bean sprouts and some chicken. Not even kidding.
I didn’t eat Chinese food for months afterwards because of this. Still haven’t and I ordered this almost a year ago now.
I don’t even want to try the other Chinese food place in town because it doesn’t seem to have good reviews either even though it’s apparently been taken over by new owners.
Seriously a waste of money and so unhealthy. I wish I brought it back but I was too annoyed.

Not thrilled with the food or the portion size for the price. Extremely expensive for Westernized Chinese food. (Chicken chow mein isn't bean sprouts and noodles with a strips of chicken on top!!) Found it to be very greasy and some of it was tasteless. (Example: Fried rice was brown (????) tasteless and extremely greasy) I heard raves about this place and drove from Chilliwack only to wait 40mins for a take out order. I suppose that's for it to be fresh which is cool, but just am not thrilled by the entire experience. I wish I was giving a better review as I was very hopeful given what raves I had heard. If you're looking for authentic Chinese food, go into Vancouver. This isn't it.

Tasty food and generous helpings. They are rigid on their menu options and will not make accommodations or substitutes. Not a lot of vegan options. However, the food is tasty. The place is old. Could maybe use some help on the interior. You can not oay at your table, you must go to the front. Food was not served to my oartner and I at the same time there was a brief pause.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian is easy to find, vegan is harder.

Dietary restrictions: Didn't notice obvious MEAL options for vegan abd vegetarian. Or GF.

Kid-friendliness: Yes.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.

Employee said they would phone 10 mins prior to pick up. No phone call, and after 2 hours I showed up and found they got my number wrong. Cold food and they would not provide discount for the employee’s mistake. Small town. Rude.

Did a dine in with 2 other people. No air conditioner in building so sat there sweating, food came fast but was horrible. Ordered chicken chow mein the chicken was cold and way too many sprouts greesey as ever and tasteless. Got the szechwan beef and 2 spring rolls all of it was disgusting. Bill came to $70 over priced and nasty food. Don't waste your time trying it so ???
