One of my favourite places in the Valley. Worth the drive out if you’re not local. Tons of great bands, fun activities, bingo, great staff and food.

Ched Drice

Chicken strips and fries were good. I try the fish n chips at most places. The fish was good however very thick and by the time I received them they were a bit soggy from weight and juice of fish I'm guessing. So could be crispier.

Cool place. Our first visit. Ordered chicken bacon wrap, bison tacos and a Greek salad. One IPA and a Caesar. Tacos showed up without the guacamole and I was told no mango cause it was out of season.(??) So what looked promising was kinda bland and underwhelming. Bison, lettuce tomato, what looked like shredded mozzarella and garlic aioli. Might stop in again as we travel through Agassiz often. Bill was $88.

Our waitress had an attitude like she was doing us a favor by being there - bad attitude. We had to get our own napkins and cutlery. There were 3 of us, two being seniors. The menu says seniors get a discount. We asked her about it, she said she didn't know, she'd have to ask the manager. The manager was in a meeting, we got our bill, no discount. She didn't ask about it. We had to ask for water and for our coffees to be refilled.
The food was good. We had regular fries and yam fries with our meals. All 3 of us felt like our mouths were coated with grease, even now as I'm writing this.
I had been to Sossy's before when the service was good and the food even better. A big disappointment.

Kinda run down. The seats were pretty torn up. The floor was very slippery. Hosts karaoke on Fridays I believe. TVs on. No music. The local regulars are a bit loud. Service is great. Some menu options were unavailable.

Vegetarian options: No. None that I saw. No Vegan either.

I decided to come out to watch the Canucks game. Only one server working, busy girl, but then I finally got my order in for 1pc fish and a poutine instead of fries, when it arrived fish batter was tough and not edible in my opinion but the poutine was good. I let her know about the fish and instead of removing it from the bill she said she could only take off 20% as there was nothing wrong with the fish according to her. It’s too bad, I will not be back. That is not customer service if you ask me.

Great small-town place with really cool trophies and decorations, live music, billiards, and a generally nice vibe. A lot of locals and not so many tourists. Service was good and prompt. Cool to see bison on the menu on the west coast, but it wasn't the best bison I've ever had. In general, the food was acceptable but nothing to write home about.

Trash rap has to go! The one woman sings it for shock value, except for her it has zero entertainment value. A person who tries to sing a song that everyone might like who sings not so good, has way more value than a person who picks the song that everyone hates intentionally. Also, anyone in the industry knows, you're trying new singers as soon as you can rather than keeping those we've already had two or three songs earlier in the evening. That's how you increase your crowds size.

We had supper . A stake sandwich each
It was delicious. Very properly cooked to perfection. Medium
I just wish there were 2 slices of bread and not only one, and not a charge for a substitute salad.
In many other restaurants we ask instead of the normal French fries a salad instead and we get a salad at no extra charge. It is way more sensible to eat a salad. That keeps the belly flat. We are not in our 20s any more.
The decor is a very traditional Canadian pub. It makes you feel welcome.
The servers are absolutely LOVELY girls. Friendly, kind, efficient.
They have all kinds of things going on each night.
I think it is a great place and we keep it in mind for when we are in the area.

Parking: In the back of the building there is plenty parking

This place was a great find in Agassiz. If you happen to be passing through to or from Harrison, save some room in your stomach for a Sossy little visit.

We went here on a Saturday night for the first time and we're impressed with all service provided. The atmosphere was friendly as was the staff, the food was very good I had fish and poutine instead of chips and my wife had coconut shrimp tacos both were excellent with good size portions. Arguably the best fish and chips in the lower mainland. Also live music and a working jukebox. The place was clean as we're the bathrooms. I will recommend this saloon.
