The Broken Whisk should be opened for more of the week and should be re-named the Fixed Whisk because you cannot beat the quality, portion and price. These meals can reasonably feed someone twice. I don’t get the 1 star reviews, don’t trust them.

Food was great! That’s were it unfortunately ended. Been wanting to try it for over 2 years and made attempts but was either closed, had private events or was too busy, so for our anniversary I made reservations but after the food was dropped off the service was none existent (didn’t even come by to fill drinks or see if the food was good), had to stop someone to have takeout containers and bill brought as the never even came by our table for 35 min. We heard that there is new owners taking over in 2 weeks and that everyone was fired and had to reapply if they wanted to work there… The service made it appear that they were trying to tank the restaurant… even said they ran out of deserts and ingredients and would not restocking as it was closing during transition… was sooooo disappointed.

Went out last week on Date Night Wednesday...It was busy around 6:00pm. We ordered the Peppercorn Sauce Schnitzel & Fish and Chips...both were great portions...with side Ceasar salads and One Large Fresh Blueberries & Chocolate Syrup + Ice Cream.. to share!. Both entrees were good ...but both lacked seasoning.. too bad they were a bit bland. The peppercorn sauce wasn't too bad tasting! A very good deal!

After many visits, the hype is over for the Broken Whisk for my family and me.
First - It was my husband’s 54th birthday on the 23rd of July and we decided to take him here because he asked for a restaurant who will have a great margarita. Well - I will tell you; it was a mistake. We drove from Chilliwack just for this purpose. Unfortunately, it was the worst we had. I cannot believe they served it in the first place. The drink had no strawberry syrup or even fake strawberries in it. When it came to the table it was pure sugar, white and warm as there was not enough ice in it for blending. Hubs changed his drink to a Caesar, and it came to him black and tasteless just like mine except the goodies on mine were the best part.
Second - The Food. The food is amazing, other than the weird change they made to their beet salad, everything was great! Lots of leftovers.
Third - Their hours have changed, and they are no longer open on Sundays, Mondays, or Tuesdays.
Fourth - I do not think they have AC on the restaurant side It was so HOT.

Extraordinary! Service was beyond the extra mile. Friendly personable staff checked on us periodically. The food portions were generous. We went on Date Night. We advise going there with a hungry tummy. 🌝 The taste was superb. The wait wasn't long at all. Love the ambiance and decor. Western set up. We will definitely reserve to dine here next trip west from Nova Scotia.

Not open as many days as we would like! But the food and service are AMAZING. I highly recommend Date Night (every Wednesday) - for $39.99 per *couple* (not per person!), from a set menu, you get your choice of one of two different appetizers, one of four (or five?) different entrees, and then a set dessert big enough for two to share. Any drinks you have (except water), you pay for - drinks are not included. If you go on a different night, the regular menu has a ton of different offerings and we haven’t had a bad meal yet!

There are only 2 Options…Recommend or Not. This Visit we would Not recommend our Meals. Constructive Criticism…Hubbys Burger was So Firm, and Dense. Like a Hockey Puck. Not Overdone, just packed too Firm. He loved the Bacon, though!😊 My Fish Tacos were a disappointment, too. The Coleslaw in the Taco was overloaded with Mayo! Over the Top, and Wet!😳 The Fish itself was good, so I ate that, and left the Shells and ALL THAT MAYO! To be Fair, we are going Visit again, and try something else on the Menu!😊

Decent place but too many seats for a small place and very noisy. Service was good but the food for me was terrible. Worst ribs ever !! The sauce was just horrible so sweet ! Pretty much ketchup and brown sugar lol. Scntizel was mediocre at best. Wife had the Korean rice bowl and said it was good but also too sweet . Been wanting too go here for a while as seeing so many FB posts about it . Was expecting alot better and won't be going back .

My partner and I went there for dinner last week. We were there early for dinner at 4:30 pm when they first open. We were seated at a dirty table and the chairs had crumbs on them. We asked if we could have a booth at the front but she said no they were going to be too busy later on. The table we were given was a old treadle sewing !machine with the bar in the middle. Both of us kept hitting it and it was so very uncomfortable 😣!!!
I was ordering the salmon bun with salad and asked if I could have the salmon in a salad leaf....she said that they don't have any and she could just have the bun removed. Then I asked her what kind of salad dressing did they have? She replied only one kind and it's ranch. (Not my favorite I prefer an oily dressing) My meal comes and my salad is a heaping plate of greens right out of the container and just saturated I ranch dressing and my little piece of salmon buried under it!! My partner had the schnitzel. The corners were so thin and completely over done and the same sauce they put on the schnitzel was on the baked potato that was only half cooked. The potato was raw in the middle..beets were awful ..too much cardomon or something. All in all we will not be back !!! Interesting enough the front booths were never occupied by anyone when we left! No one even came and asked how are meals were or if we needed anything! Absolutely terrible customer service !

Drink prices are comparable to any other licensed place that you would go to.

The food is quite good 👍
The portions are very large and you will not leave here hungry.
Honestly the prices don't reflect the amount of food you will receive at this place. It is way cheaper than you think you would pay any where else for a similar food items.

Highly recommend this family owned establishment.

Parking: Lots of free public parking.
