The original chef retired Nov 1 of this year. And it shows in the food. The salads are amazing. The meat / duck/ salmon don’t taste very good. I think the new chef needs more experience. Great ambiance and servers tho.

Absolutely delicious meal. Chicken wild rice soup, arugula salad, wild game tagliatelle and elk Wellington were all outstanding. Our server was very nice and attentive. Excellent Canadian wine selection and their house wine (from Indigenous Winery) was delicious and extremely reasonably priced. We will definitely return.

Came in before the kitchen closed. Great service. Muscles were plentiful, nice presentation. I ordered kale and quinoa. Too much quinoa, not enough of the good stuff that made this salad appetizing.Good selection of mocktails.

We ate four different nights at the restaurant, each dinner meal was amazing with so much flavour.
Bison rib eye was the best steak we have ever eaten. We tried many other entrees, such as Elk Wellington, Wild Sockeye Salmon, Wild Game Bolognaise, Bison French Onion Soup, Bannock with spuce butter, Ceasar Salad, and Arugula beet salad were all so delicious with every bite. Thank you Chef!!! And the staff for the incredible preparation of the meals.
The service was fantastic, friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu selections.

My only complaint is that it's hard to blow on my French onion soup because I'm drooling too much. This is seriously the best French onion soup that I have ever tasted!

I enjoyed my experience here. I loved that staff started each interaction asking about allergies or food restrictions, shows a great dedication for customers! I had the bison French onion soup for lunch- tasty but definitely would have been better shared with a friend, it was very rich. (only had a couple pieces of the bison too, more focused as a French onion soup). I had a nice cocktail and overall friendly customer service.

I am so glad I found this place! Went here for a late dinner after a long hiking day in the Purcells. Unfortunately didn’t get to see the view of the lake cuz it was dark out but this restaurant met all my expectations for a deserved five star rating.
The food was amazing - very authentic, flavourful and delicious. They were out of the mussels cuz we went so late but the other dishes are just as great. We had the elk wellington, the papperdelle pasta with the three meats and their soup of the day. MY GOD the soup was so hearty and comforting. The service was excellent and attentive and everyone was wearing their orange shirts for Truth and Reconciliation. Highly recommend this restaurant even if you’re not staying in the hotel. Worth the stop!!

Absolutely amazing! The food was exceptional, huge portions, great presentation and quality, the service even better. The absolute unit of the dessert I just got to go made me very happy that I didn't order it in the restaurant, because I couldn't finish half of it...

The views from the restaurant and patio on the 4th floor are incredible and the food was top notch!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
From start to finish, this dining experience was unforgettable.
The main course was a masterpiece—tender, perfectly cooked beef paired with creamy mashed potatoes and a silky, rich sauce that brought everything together. The vegetables added just the right touch of freshness and balance, while the presentation showed off the chef’s eye for detail. Every bite felt comforting yet elevated, the kind of dish that makes you pause and truly savor the flavors.
To top it off, the cocktails were just as impressive as the food. Served with a beautiful frothy finish and a touch of artistry on top, the drink struck the perfect balance—smooth, refreshing, and layered with flavor. It wasn’t just a cocktail; it felt like part of the whole dining experience, crafted with the same care as the meal itself.
Between the incredible food, the stunning drinks, and the thoughtful presentation, this restaurant sets the bar high. A must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates food and drink made with passion and precision.

Everyone knows the food is great and atmosphere is quiet and intimate on the patio with gorgeous view. The staff is the backbone! Our server Jules very knowledgeable and adds his options to make the food or drink experience great. Lucas was another star! Hosting, busing, setting, answering phone all while still being professional. They were slammed but did well i thought

The mussels with garlic, shallots, parsley and sausage were delicious! The French onion soup with bison was outstanding and the beef barley soup was fantastic. Our server was awesome and the whole experience was amazing. We’re just sorry we didn’t get photos of the food!
