At the fox and hound liquor store, I have found tremendous community, professionalism and great understanding individuals that work there. I pick up liquor from here every now and then because of the convenient location. Never had a big issue before but just wanted to shout out the guys who were working tonight (Thursday around 10pm). Chillest guys, super helpful and friendly👌

My partner was buying his own drinks, and I was with him but I had a separate transaction. I forgot my cards at home, so I couldn't get my own drinks. Because we came in together, she turned HIM away and wouldn't sell him the drinks he got for himself, even though he showed ID for is own transaction. She told me to go home and get my ID. The way she spoke to us was rude and dismissive. We are both in our late 30s. Definitely will not be coming back here.

Racism vibe here unwelcoming negativity me an my friend walked in by cold case beer lady’s giving dirty attitude customers before us received happy Easter comments after we were leaving my friends decided say happy Easter to staff lady’s at cashiers absolutely rude reply . Mite as well put up sign front door whites only

With the rising cost of inflation these days where you spend your money and how you are treated are very important to me. There many places to choose from but at the end of the day, it’s how I am treated as a customer that also factors in to where I purchased things. That is why I can no longer recommend the fox and hound liquor store. I myself will not be frequent in here in the future.

I had chosen to come to this establishment since It is a local company, and I like to support our town. Unfortunately, I felt a little uneasy with an individual who was lingering around the store. I did not want to leave my young employee in the car and I asked for her to come in with me just so that I felt more safe about the situation. I entered the store, found the articles and came to the front counter to purchase where I was met with an unfortunate situation and was not able to purchase the product. It seems as though the staff member thought I was purchasing alcohol for the minor that was with me. I proceeded to let them know that was not the case. I just felt very uncomfortable leaving anybody in the car with the individual that was loitering outside the premises. Again I was told I could not purchase so I left the establishment. I Reached out this morning to speak with a manager Billy. And was met with a very unprofessional individual. I’m writing this review only because I feel like there was a safety Concern leaving a minor in the car. I appreciate that the staff chose to use their discretion however my point was I felt uneasy about leaving a young girl in the car and the manager was less than sympathetic. I would have expected a much more professional approach to the conversation that we were having instead of being told that the man that was outside the store was a customer and did I want proof of a receipt receipt and he was harmless.
The staff are always nice and cheerful i do like the cool bottles of alcohol they have in the vary back on the corner of the shelves and so does my fiance iv found a couple iv never seen before for her collection the totem was awsome because she's native

I am a regular customer at this store, and while I appreciate that staff adhere to ID-checking policies, I recently had an unpleasant experience. Each time I visit, the same staff member asks for my ID, even though I’ve presented it multiple times before. While I fully understand and respect the need to check IDs, I’ve noticed that other customers are not subjected to the same scrutiny.
When I politely asked the staff member why I’m always asked for my ID while others aren’t, her response was unnecessarily rude. She claimed it was because the others are “rich.” This statement was not only inappropriate but also unprofessional, leaving me feeling disrespected and singled out.
I believe all customers should be treated with the same level of respect and fairness, regardless of their perceived financial status or background. While I have no issue providing my ID, this experience has made me reconsider my comfort in continuing to shop here. I hope management addresses this issue and ensures all staff are trained in providing consistent and respectful service to everyone.

Would avoid at all costs was great till these younger people work there now. Went it grabbed 4 tall old mills which were 2.15 before tax which gst and pst is gone at the moment and somehow 4x2.15=13.67 5.67 in taxes and deposit was my go to now I'll never go again I asked the 2 kids working and they just kinda stood there very frustrating 9 bucks of beer equals almost 4 bucks tax and after now looking in bag didn't even give me receipt last time ill ever go
