A nice clean restaurant and eating space. I like the chairs in particular. Service was adequate but not overly pleasant or rude to be fair. Food was also adequate not bad but nothing special. If you have a vehicle go to vernon for sushi. If your stuck in town it will do.

The server at Haru on July 30th was incredible. i have been a regular customer at Haru for seven years and almost every time i dine in i’m left feeling sorry for the server that waits on my table. The management does not appear to prioritize their staff as they’re almost always working entirely alone on the floor regardless of how busy the restaurant is (busing tables, taking phone orders, etc). even though the food was very good, just watching the server made us feel anxious and sorry for her during our entire dining experience. step up Haru, your customers and especially staff, deserve better.

A hidden Gem!!! We came in from Kamloops and had no idea what we wanted to have for dinner so we parked to discuss….and looked up and saw their sign. Hmmmmm sushi? Ok lets try this place.

Its a bit hidden but once you find it, it is lovely inside, friendly and we had a fantastic dinner. The “heart attacks” (large jalapeños stuffed with tuna, cream cheese, fried and topped with a spicy sauce and a sweet teriyaki sauce and green onions were awesome—4 in a portion!!! We had no idea and ordered 4 portions but lucky us we have lots for the next day. Agedashi tofu was excellent and topped with benito, green onions and kelp with a perfect sauce. The scallop roll with sauteed bean sprouts was unique but very bland—needs a drizzle of that yummy sweet teriyaki and some green onion ?. Dynamite rolls, salmon roll and tuna roll were great. We did ask for extra ginger and wasabi but unfortunately didn’t get much of each. Everything beautifully presented even in our to go boxes! Well done guys!

This was my first time dining in at Haru. I showed up at 3pm and hadn't eaten breakfast yet. I splurged as I ordered asparagus tempura, yam tempura rolls, veggie yakisoba, and nestea. After tax and a 20 percent tip I paid $44.

This meal was absolutely delicious. I am getting hungry just from writing this. The rolls are huge. The asparagus tempura was crunchy. The veggie yakisoba had that perfect flavour.

I highly recommend their menu if you come here. They know what they are doing.

This restaurant has always held a special place in my heart, but after moving 45 minutes away, I thought I would never get to enjoy it again. However, I decided to try their online ordering system and pick it up and I was blown away by the quality of the sushi. It was as fresh and tasty as ever! I'd give 10 starts if I could, will definitely be ordering again

Amazingly fresh and tasty. Excellent gluten free options and our table of three enjoyed our meal immensely.
Ambiance was very relaxing and our service was great. Highly recommend this place. We left feeling so relaxed and enjoyed good quality food with generous portions. Haru salad was so tasty , with avacado rolls, Bento boxs were excellent.

The lemon chicken was delicious. All the sushi we ordered was amazing as well. We were very impressed and happy we chose here for a birthday dinner. Amazing service as well.

Sushi tastes great and is a good price and I've enjoyed many dishes I've tried here; however the desert is awful, the cheesecake and pie were frozen and chunky after thawed both times I've ordered it
