I believe they have a new owner, because things have changed and in a GREAT way! My husband and I love it here even more, now. Every so often service isn't the best, (which I believe is just because they aren't really experienced in customer service), but otherwise everything is amazing.

Quiet and comfortable this is the best place in Armstrong to get lunch. Service was quick and the server was very polite and kind. Also the food was amazing. As I am new to the area i was looking for a new resturant to replace my old sushi place and am so glad to have found Haru! I will definitely be ordering a lot from here!!

An Armstrong gem! Great food, amazing quality, fabulous service! The cozy, high quality feel from small town with amazing, authentic Japanese!
Not sure if it's sushi or my favorite Friday night waitress that keeps me coming back, but I love both!

How does this place exist? A small piece of heaven in Armstrong BC. Not only is the food absolutely amazing! And I mean amazing, a la cart was soo much food for $25!!!!! And delicious food at that! Beyond reasonable prices and incredible food and service!!! Please support this restaurant, it is one of my highlights for my trip to The Armstrong Metal Fest.

Had a great lunch here. Was greeted by a very friendly and attentive server. My usual order of sashimi and rolls was very tasty, with portions on the larger side. Treated myself to some great gyoza that was nice and crispy on the outside. Miso soup was also great. The space is packed into a little corner in the mall, which is what it is, no big deal. Only knock? Interior is pretty dated, although it’s very spacious and welcoming. Will definitely be back the next time I am in Armstrong!
