Was intrigued by the home made food sign. Not even close. I make my own meals from scratch all the time, including lots of home made soups, with real ingredients so know the difference. Asked for the vegetarian borscht and when inquiring about ingredients in theirs the lady acted put off (really?) so just took it. First of all borscht is beet soup, no beets. Tasted like a bad vegetable soup. Ingredients are sub par with no life to them as if they had been sitting around for a long time or very low grade. I doctored it up to try and resucitate the off taste and it was barely edible. And at $8 for a small container that’s ridiculous. Tired of business trappings with labels that don’t line up with what they are selling. Wouldn’t dare try anything else here. Just sub par frozen food and I’ve had better from the grocery store. Very disappointing.

Dave and Lucille have a Fantastic business with what they provide and offer...with me working overtime every single day...it is so awesome being able to have a home-cooked meal being able to throw in the oven with leftover often for next couple of days...the highest quality of ingredients always used...I drive from vernon to Armstrong to get my food...thanks guys...Goldie

Phoned ahead for fresh fried chicken and was assured fresh yet what we got was so old and dry we could only eat two pieces and threw out the rest. Very disappointing to say the least as we are regular customers and do not live in Armstrong. You will lose customers if this is the way you treat folks. Throwing the old chicken in the boxes for pick up orders especially when your Askews employee assures it will be fresh! Shame! We will never order pick up again!

My family loves lasagnas and pot pies best. They are such good quality, like homemade - except better.

Wow! just cooked up a dozen taco perogies. Not only was there 13 not 12. The quantity of burger was astounding. You just won us over to your perogies. Can't wait to try the others we bought. Thank you

My husband and I are so incredibly thankful to have found Heritage Kitchen, it saves us so much time and tastes absolutely amazing! It gives us peace of mind knowing that we can have such wonderfully delicious meals made with so much love. Some of our favorites are the baked potato soup, Swedish meatballs, mexi-fiesta bake, spaghetti & meatballs, and the chicken fettuccini alfredo. Everyone there is so kind and patient!

I have lived in Armstrong for 30 years. Askews is a cornerstone of the community. It carries pretty much everything the big box stores carry. Good meat selections. Prices tend to be higher on most things ( except when they have their big sales events). That is just the price of convenience. Nice to have in this smaller town.
