Had an awesome breakfast today. Young waitress was extremely friendly. Food was super tasty and very good price. My fiance has a gluten allergy and she was able to eat a full gluten free breakfast which is very rare at restaurants. Waitress was awesome with the kids and made our dining experience so very enjoyable. Definitely a must stop for a meal.

I just love this place! If I could afford to go out everyday, this is where I would go!

My husband and I stopped here on the way home for some food. Despite being short staffed we were seated promptly and served drinks right away. Our server was super friendly and attentive and our food arrived very quickly. The steaks were cooked perfectly and there was a lot of food for the price. I'd drive the 2 hours to come here again lol

Understaffed right now but the food is good and it's a nice spot to grab lunch while at the lake, could tell the server has been overworked or just having a bad day, won't hold that against them however, will be eating here again when I don't feel like cooking myself

I went there with my niece and nephews, I Got seated right away and drinks were taken right away as well. The food was amazing. The kids loved their meals and I had the veal cutlets. They are actually authentic cutlets not the deep fried you find most places, and one of the best veal I have ever had. The service was amazing and was clean and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Thank you so much for the amazing meal!

Had been here a few times for breakfast. Food and staff were great! Decided to Invite some friends and go for breakfast over the long weekend. Showed up. Party of 10. The owner came out and was extremely rude. Almost seemed annoyed that we wanted to eat at her establishment. She mentioned that we can always go to the golf course if we didn't want to wait. We had no problem waiting . Then she said they don't take reservations, and while we were sitting there waiting she literally took a dining reservation with a Customer who walked in off the street. I was actually shocked that this was the owner. Her behaviour was childish and totally uncalled for.. I'm a frequent resident of candle lake, and was extremely dissappointed in the leadership of this owner who clearly can't lead a team. The waitresses we're awesome. But they also seemed stressed out by the owner of this establishment. I likely will not visit again and I'll make sure I tell everyone I know to also just go to the golf course, as per the owner of this business who clearly doesn't need/nor want our business. This place won't last long. It's quite unfortunate. As she put it. ' just go to the golf course, and save yourself the trouble.. '

Great food, great waitresses, however the management was so poor I will not return. So unfortunate as this place could be amazing. There were 10 of us that arrived for breakfast. We were greeted by a woman at the front that told us there would be a wait and they don't take reservations, which was totally fine. We noticed there were several available tables and she said those are reserved for the group ahead of us. We were all there and the other group was still waiting on others to arrive, however we waited happily. Then another lady that worked there arrived at the front and she immediately told us we can just go to the golf course instead. She was very rude, short and angry and we were shocked when she told us she was the owner! She told us we wouldn't be able to sit together, which again, we were ok with. She acted like she really didn't want our business for some reason. As we waited, we saw several smaller groups of 4 get seated immediately after walking in. If we are waiting and we can't sit together anyway, why wouldn't we be seated first? We felt like we were not welcome at all. Poor customer service. I guess the golf course will be getting my future business! At least we feel welcome there!

Great food! Excellent service! There were 5 of us and the service was quick. We got our food all at once. I ordered the Chorizo Fiesta Omelet with pancakes and it was very, very good. They were very busy and still provided great food and service. Would recommend Emma's Kitchen when visiting Candle Lake!

Compliments to Wayne, and Emma's Kitchen. They ensured that my Dad had a very special 91st birthday dinner, all organized over emails from out of province. Dad said the steak was one of the best he's had. Cooked blue, just how he likes it. My parents were very impressed with the food and the renovations to the old Candle Castle are excellent. Emma's Kitchen is a great place and a welcome addition to Candle Lake.

Awesome place to eat - they are very versed with the gluten free diet!

Excellent breakfast menu, plenty of options and great prices. Portions were more than enough for one person, probably could've fed two. Server was prompt and friendly. I recommend the stuffed hashbrowns. Free parking out front. I'll definitely be back.

I have been to Tucker's twice recently and I enjoyed both my meals. I ordered the chicken quesadilla the first time and it was delish! The second time was the bacon cheddar burger it was so good. My mom ordered french toast with bacon and she said it was the best french toast she had ever had!! I am sorry to hear they are selling the restaurant.
