I was there on September 23, 2019 -- a beautiful, peaceful place to eat delicious home-cooked meals. Decor features some very lovely antique furniture, and the staff seem like family - warm and friendly. Prices are reasonable. After my meal, I wandered around out back to see the old log buildings with neat "old stuff" inside. Definitely worth stopping in!
I still remember one of the best burgers I've had in this place a few years ago. The owners are nice. Too bad I live far away, haven't had the chance to visit Ashcroft since.
Our geocaching adventure took us to this historical building that now is a teahouse. Prior to this iteration, the Manor had many other uses. First, it was a private home. Over the years, it functioned as a roadhouse and gave respite to weary travellers. At one time, it's cellar was a jail! As a store, it provided a place for people to purchase their provisions.
