We walked in to a totally silent room, there were 2 tables eating but no music. Just dark and quiet. The waitress didn’t see us come in so we waited for about 10 mins to see a menu, which was fine- we had time. She brought us water and there was a black suspicious looking clump in mine. I’ve worked in the service industry for my entire adult life and know that ice machines can become full of mold if not properly cleaned so we avoided our ice waters.
My husband ordered an ice cream sundae with one scoop of vanilla ice cream and a scoop of mint chocolate ice cream. They didn’t have mint chocolate on hand so he was given 2 scoops of freezer burnt vanilla ice cream.
My peppermint tea was good, the server forgot about it but I reminded her.

The atmosphere was depressing. The restaurant was grimy, the server was not into her job (also did not notice the people who came in after for a table). I think they’re lucky to have the location they do or I don’t think this place would survive.

Instead of the owner sending defensive responses to every negative review they receive they could take the reviews into consideration and make some basic changes ie. clean your restaurant.

Don't get me wrong. The restaurant is fine but the menu is too big and doesn't have any healthful items. This year (2024), the pizzas were pretty good.

This is a great place to eat, and I've often seen the staff go the extra mile to get folks their food before the ferry whisks them off. They hire great staff every year. There are lots of delicious items on the menu and it's really good pub food.

I had the seafood pasta with salmon and shrimps. Unfortunately I had not one shrimp in this dish. Very disappointing and over priced.
If you want us back you have to do better.

To start off we were litterally the only people in the resturant which makes this review even worse! We sat down and ordered drinks, when they came they were flat and watery. It took the waitress almost 40 minutes to come and take our food order and then another 40 minutes just for the food to come to our table. The service was extremely slow!
We ordered 2 pizzas and Greek salad. When the pizzas came the crust was burnt and the cheese wasent even melted! They must of forgot the Greek salad because they never brought it to the table. We litterally sent one of the pizzas back and had to find another resturant to eat dinner at because my husband couldn't even eat the food....

We were there for probably 2 hours and I'm not sure why it took so long because we were the only people there!

I told the server I was looking for a good poutine. The server said "Oh yes you won't be disappointed." Well when I got it it didn't even have cheese curds on the thing, just shredded cheese. I was told cheese curds are getting expensive so they don't use them. As far as I'm concerned you can't even call it a poutine without cheese curds. I told them that and they didn't even apologize, the server just chuckled. I had to throw half of it away because it didn't even tastes good either. I'll never go back again.

We've been coming here for many years, and are always happy with the service! The menu is quite extensive so there is something for everyone. The view is exceptional and it's fun to watch the ferries come and go!

Nothing wrong with the food, but I wouldn't call it good, very mediocre. Nice atmosphere and balcony, would be nice to just go for drinks.

One of the absolute worst foods I have ever had. Cheap ingredients, prepared without any skill or knowledge. Food is sooo overpriced it’s not even funny and really, really bad! Never again. I hope they sell to another owner because these owners either have no experience what food is or they simply don’t care. Do not recommend!

So, my wife, son, and I stopped in after a not so good round of golf for a bite the other night.
Sorry if this gets long.
First, service
It was great. Our server (sorry, I can't hear well and didn't get his name) he used to be a pipeline worker who gave it up to be back here near family. He was amazing. My wife was skeptical when he did not write a thing down. But this dude is on point, and so was the order.
Food.
My wife had a chicken wrap and then asked for onionrings too, my son had a chicken burger, and I had the Carnivor pizza with onion and olives. Wrap was excelent, says the wife. The chicken burger was spot on. And added onion rings that the server didn't forget were frigging awesome.
The pizza I got was absolutely one of the best ever. Don't let the whole wheat crust fool you. It is light fluffy and crisp as it should be. These folks have it dialed in,don't be scared to stop in if waiting for a ferry. I'm pretty sure they can make it happen. When we were leaving a 21 top showed up, and the server said with a smile that it was not a problem, we will make it happen.

Food was really good. The atmosphere was nice, water front.
Service was poor...slow, the waitress was not overly friendly. We specifically saud we were planning to get on the next ferry, as it says on the menu (to let them know)...i assumed that meant they make the food on more of a rush order. We still waited 15 mins for the food...just barely made our sailing. Should have done takeout
