I gave this for the atmosphere and experience the crowded weekend American style restaurant which took me back to the 60-70s

Stopped in while travelling through the area. Had a delicious meal. I had the lasagna special and my husband had the veal cutlet meal. We were both very satisfied with the taste, the proportions and the promptness to the table. Plus, our server who was super busy was very professional and very friendly. Definitely would eat here again.

Service was ok. My eggs benny were excellent but my wife's french toast was so-so -- the strawberries were frozen, and the syrup was cheap Aunt Jemima stuff. Not great overall but not bad either.

Hidden gem along the highway l, north of Kamloops on route to Jasper and Edmonton. Atmosphere is a little dated, outside rustic. Staff typically cheerful. It has become a mainstay point to eat at for trips from Kamloops to Alberta.

“Hashbrown Heaven and Bacon Bliss”

Stopped in at Station House expecting a humble plate of bacon and eggs, but what I got was nothing short of a breakfast miracle. The bacon? Crispy perfection. The eggs? Cooked exactly how I like them (which is basically a culinary trust fall). But the real MVP? THE HASH BROWNS.
Not those sad, frozen, bagged squares of potato regret—oh no. These were REAL potatoes, cut by someone who clearly loves carbs as much as I do. I swear I heard angels singing every time my fork hit the plate.

Our server? Fast, friendly, and probably could’ve taken over for Gordon Ramsay with how smooth everything ran. Honestly, if I was any more impressed, I’d have proposed to the kitchen.

If you’re driving through Barriere and don’t stop here, I can only assume you’ve lost control of your vehicle. I will absolutely be back—probably with a sleeping bag and an empty stomach.

10/10 would sell my left sock for another round of those hash browns.

The food was fresh, hot, tasty. The homemade soups were exactly that! and the sandwich I ordered had everything it promised….loads of bacon, veg and fresh moist unprocessed turkey! Cher, the leading lady running front house was amazing! I watched her buzz around the restaurant and she was perfection. She was kind and warm to everyone patron. She was busy! Don’t let the much needed updating appearance fool you. It’s perfectly charming, bang for buck and incredible service!

To be honest, the culinary experience was about as satisfying as a kindergarten lunch, and the price tag was more suited to a fancy dinner party. By the time our server finally delivered the food to our table of five, the first two diners had already finished their meals and were probably wondering if they'd accidentally stumbled into a senior citizens' early bird special, while the remaining dishes were only slightly warmer than the reception we got from our server.

a grainy white sauce pasta, a sad looking chicken breast slapped on a bun with 15 mccain super fries. a watermelon with fish and chips? sort of brought me back in time, to a sask farm town diner in the early 2000's, a simpler time, a blander time.

A nice down to earth, great quality family friendly restaurant. Lots of parking available. Quick service fast delicious food. Our server was working really hard coving all the tables but she was upbeat and made our experience one of the nicest outings we have had in a long time
