Guy at the counter was so lazy I walked out. He didn't want to make a wrap or burger. Just wanted to serve the pre-made food. I asked for a wrap "no wrap" ok, fine I would like a burger... starts looking at the pre-made food sitting there and started to say "no burger" i walked out at this point. And the wedges he said doesn't contain wheat but i looked it up and it does.

The last time I went there about the same time it was also slim pickings. Well they are off my list moving forward because our day slows down or ends at about 6pm. Sams here we come

Ordered the Western Style Chicken and got 9 huge pieces of freshly cooked chicken. It was seasoned well, even on the inside, and has a very thin and crisp batter. Paid around $20, very cheap when compared to the amount I got. You won't find such good prices for the amount of chicken you get anywhere in the Lower Mainland! Highly recommend it.

Some days you get great tasting chicken, some days it's dry, and some days it's barely edible. The people are friendly and the prices are more reasonable than KFC. There are several extra options they have been adding, like coleslaw and mozza sticks, that help round out the menu. Located in a gas station but they do have indoor and patio seating available.

It looks as if they started cutting there chicken tenders in half and selling them as full pieces. I will be contact Chester's chicken directly. What a rip off.

Had great experience, best quality fresh chicken, highly recommend
So to everyone who’s getting some chicken make sure your watching them cause they will try to put all small pieces in and 1 large to make the order and always try to upsale on their wedges.
Chicken is a hit or miss when it's good its amazing but when it's bad it's really bad the staff are very friendly and very nice people the cleaning can use way more cleaning as the floors and counters are gross most of the

Please stay away! The chicken was dry and made me very sick. The other reviews are right about the place needing a good clean too. In retrospect, I don’t know how I could’ve ordered anything in the first place. A few weeks ago I heard from a colleague that I had to stop by for the chicken if I was passing through Barriere at all. I highly regret making the stop as it halted my road trip by a couple days. Will never come here again after my experience. Someone should call the health authorities to request an inspection. THAT’s how bad it was.
Ordered a chicken tender combo with mojos (battered potato wedges) and was greatly disappointed. The chicken was well seasoned, but the batter was soggy and the tenders were small, very dry, and super rubbery; it tasted closer to chicken jerky than chicken tenders. The potatoes also had soggy batter, were overly greasy, and under-seasoned.If you want good fried chicken and you’re in the area, stop in Kamloops for Popeyes or Mary Brown’s.
