We dined at the Fourth Ace last night. The food was generally good but not worth the cost. The staff are very good - Very friendly and generally inviting!
While prices at Big White are generally expensive, I found the Fourth Ace to be VERY expensive. We went there last year and thought it was expensive but wanted to try again. Nothonh is included with the mains. If you order the 1 pound brisket ($30) you have to pay extra for fries or even a sauce.

Fourth Ace Bar and Smokehouse offers tasty food at reasonable prices. Their menu includes southern fried chicken sandwiches, well-seasoned fries, brisket, ribs, and churros. Portions are generous, but to-go boxes are available for leftovers. The restaurant provides good value and friendly service, with some staff members going above and beyond. Customers have praised the food, especially the dill pickle buttermilk chicken sandwich, maple pork beans, pork ends, brisket sandwich, Brussels, and honey carrots. The Caesar salad is considered the best ever by some guests. It’s also a popular spot for lunch on the hill, with easy access off a ski run and a good selection of local brews on tap. The brisket sandwich is highly recommended, often served with a house salad that surpasses typical side salads at other pubs. However, visitors should be cautious when using the washrooms, especially in ski boots, as the steep staircase and slippery tile flooring can be tricky to navigate. The restaurant is known for its brisket night and offers a lively atmosphere, making it a favorite for many who return frequently.
