Start with the pluses. Host was very pleasant and helpful with our group of 7. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. The smoked salmon and fried chicken are amazing. Those that had them, stated the fries were really good.
The Brussels and pork belly was of putting as it was so sweet. No mention on the menu of it being coated in a sticky sweet sauce. Please mention that on the menu Our group of 7 couldn’t finish a single side order because it was just not a good dish.
Every smokehouse prides itself on their brisket and this has got to be top worst brisket in North America. Never have we had to add salt to a brisket that was so devoid of flavour. While you expect crust on the outside, there was crust on the sliced sides because it had been sliced hours ago and left under a heatlamp or uncovered in an oven. It was so dry, and this was at 5pm, the start of the evening rush!!! An absolute disappointment. Finally the server was either hungover or counting her hours before she left because she was not rude but certainly unfriendly and short. Our whole table commented, “What’s up with her”.
It’s unfortunate that it was so disappointing. We are up here a week a year and this place has never been so disappointing

Service was great, the beef brisket was very good and the portions large. Different areas for seating offering some options.

Best pork belly I've ever tried! Corn side dish was great as well

Food is alright, service awesome… Atmosphere is really offputting. Take the random logs off the ceiling and burn the plastic leafy pillars…

My family and I went to fourthace this afternoon, the food was great and our server Olivia was lovely, we will be coming back!

We had a group of 15 people service was really good. Every one of us loved the food, the dill pickle buttermilk chicken sandwich was delicious. Maple pork beans, pork ends, brisket sandwich, Brussels and honey carrots were really good. The Caesar salad was the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back again.

Great place to stop for lunch when on the hill. Easy access off one of the ski runs. Good selection of beer on tap, including some local brews. I’ve had the brisket sandwich twice and was impressed. The house salad option that comes with it is great! Way better than what other pubs will pass off as a side salad. Just be careful if you need to use the washrooms, especially in ski boots. Steep staircase and slippery tile flooring need to be navigated.

Last week I went to Brisket Night for the first time with two friends.
As I don't drink beer or alcohol, I asked the waitress if I could swap the beer for a soda (it would be cheaper for the establishment and I still would have paid the higher price).
I know from friends who have been there a few times that beer has been exchanged for soda in the past on request.
She replied that they weren't allowed to do that anymore.
That was a shame but I accepted it, it's the deal: brisket and beer.
We were served the three beers and only one of us drank any of her glass (she only drak 2/3).
Two of the three beers were left untouched and then thrown away.
That's a waste.
But I was even more annoyed when a colleague told me today that he had been given the beer in exchange for a soda this week.
Either you take a strict line or you offer non-drinkers a swap for soda.
I spoke to a lot of people about this and they all agreed that an exchange should be possible and would also be cheaper for the company.

Had what I thought was going to be a good experience at this restaurant, which was ruined at the end, we ordered food and two of our briskets arrived dry, to the point of inedibility, so we just let a server know, and they later came back and told us they would take it off the bill, which we thought was appropriate and nice to do. What sullied the experience to the point of one star, is when we went to pay, they first of all hadn’t taken it off the bill like they said, which was okay, but after tipping them they came back and asked us to tip more! We ended up tipping $80 in total, which we thought was a bit extreme, and when we went home, our family member called up to make a complaint in which her complaint was met with arguing and laughing on the other end, which we thought was extremely rude and a serious violation of service culture, having worked in service for more then 5 years I felt this quite appalling, so this review is a formal complaint as the man on the phone obviously didn’t take it as one.

The food is terrible, don’t bother. The chicken wings were awful, overcooked and it felt like they had been sitting around for a while. We had a salad and the chilli both were pretty bad. I’m not sure in the chef has changed but food didn’t really taste good at all, badly seasoned. The place is well located but that’s about it. The staff were friendly but not attentive. It was a really disappointing evening. I would steer clear but there are so few options in BW that would might be forced to eat here.

A little chilly inside but good food and beer. Friendly service!

This has to be one of the worst experiences. We waited almost 2 hrs for food, they did not come to refill our drinks, our sons order was missing completely. We had 3 people join us about 20 mins after we were sat, the server got them drinks and neglected to get their orders and said she assumed they were just drinking but didn't even ask. Needless to say we will never come back and our bill was still $116. No offer to fix anything they just took off the one order that never came out. The food was very subpar at best.

Wait staff were friendly and were very responsive. Food was mediocre, but the sides were delicious. Meat seemed dried out a bit.

We went here for a birthday and they served him completely raw fried chicken. We noticed about half way through and the server handled it well and apologized and took it off the bill but no other apologies from kitchen or offers to fix the situation. He ended up getting food poisoning for the weekend. The rest of the food was pretty mediocre, I wouldn’t recommend if you want somewhere decent to eat.
