Run by the cutest older gentleman, don’t expect it to be fast but it will be a great home made breakfast for your drive home

I'm not sure how this place hasn't been shut down.. he washed our table with a pair of old underwear (picture attached)..we should of left at this point but we didn't..
Seems to be just one man running this restuarant and I'm pretty sure he lives in the restuarant..not in a bedroom but on the none used side where people sit to eat.
He was friendly but overwhelming. He didn't give us time to read the menu and told us what we were having which was a club sandwich and chicken Souvlaki.
The food was nasty, freezer burnt and the meat was so hard we couldn't bite into it. The prices are expensive and I hope we don't get food poisoning.

Went for lunch on our way home from the cariboo. Order 2 club sandwiches. We got 2 slices of bread a piece of turkey bacon and lettuce. I had Caesar salad which was lettuce with Italian dressing and cheddar cheese. Ugh! The meal was so small. They charged $17 each. Total rip! The fries my hubby had were like the baked ones you get at the grocery store. Won’t ever go back.

This place is disgusting and expensive for frozen food from Walmart reheated. The owner basically told us what we were eating- chicken souvlaki. They served the chicken souvlaki with French fries. There is fruit flies everywhere and the place stinks. While leaving I asked if there was a store near by to buy some pop and water- the owner lied and told us there were no stores and then charged 5 dollars each foe vitamin water. Guy is crook. Stay away from this dump.

We came here with a riding group of six yesterday for breakfast and it was great food and service. My wife and I stopped in today for a couple of burgers and it was so good. Definitely worth stopping and visiting this small town atmosphere.

Perfect little stop along the highway. Food was great and the owner was very kind and accommodating

Its just the one guy working the resturant but he's incredibly funny nd kind honestly best fries I've had in a long time and the burger was pretty good too!

Stopped in at suppertime. We ordered 3 bacon cheese burgers with fries which were waaay better than fast food. Thick cut bacon tomato and onions with crisp lettuce. A good beef pattie all on a sesame bun. The fries were fresh cut and well cooked. I'll schedule a stop here again on my next trip to the cabin.

Fantastic food! We enjoyed breakfast here. Best hash browns we have had, friendly staff, lots of interesting /eclectic decor to take in while you enjoy your delicious food. Will stop in again for sure!

May 4/26 tried the restaurant despite the bad reviews. I was impressed with the food quality and quantity. The mother is an excellent cook. I had breaded pork cutlets, mashed potato and roasted carrots. I went back the next night and had the roast beef dinner. Both nights the gravy was great as was the rest of the food.
Looking forward to trying the breakfast menu in 5.days.

Unbelievably bad food. Burgers tasted of freezer burn. Mushroom Swiss Burger had 3 mushrooms and a small sprinkle of cheddar. Reuben=2 slices of dry roast beef on toasted brown bread.
Clubhouse= Not sure between 2 slices of bread.
Owner was pleasant enough, but offered "we do the best we can" "you should call ahead."
No discount or apology offered.

Would not recommend at all. Three separate burgers ordered and all three were extremely freezer burnt burger patties and we're not edible. Another in the group ordered a Rueben sandwich and was served 2 slices of bread with old tough beef - it was definitely not a rueben. I ordered a clubhouse - stale bread, no mayo, and the turkey tasted old and smelt really off. Tried to discuss issues with what was either the owner or manager and send the food back but he waved us off, would not hear what was wrong with the situation and said if people want food, they have to call in and order ahead of time. He also told us we need to be fair and it's no big deal that the food was inedible. Unfortunately we were left paying in full for food that could not be eaten.

Django is a amazing person to be around he entertains you and makes you feel welcome he let's you eat when it's time keeps your coffee full things homemade with love you can taste it

Awful. The owner locked me in the bathroom. He pretended it was an accident but i heard him come into the womens bathroom to check if anyone was in there. His motive was that i wasnt a customer, but when i tried to buy something earlier that day, there was nobody at the register. Avoid this place. It is not safe.
