Super cute spot with beautiful view. They pour the best paint of Guinness in town! Also free parking across the street if you spend over 20 bucks at the local farmers market. I love supporting local community

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Water Shed Grill – Squamish

If you’re anywhere near Squamish and not stopping at the Water Shed Grill, you’re missing out on some serious happiness. The curry was so delicious it could probably solve minor life problems, and the Chicken Brie burger? Let’s just say I’m still thinking about it like it was a summer crush.

The staff were incredibly friendly and on-the-ball—like they knew what I needed before I did (which, frankly, is a gift). Every interaction felt warm and effortless, the kind that makes you want to come back before you’ve even left.

Now, the parking… yes, it’s a bit of an adventure. But honestly, what’s a great story without a tiny challenge? You’ll survive, you’ll laugh about it, and the food on the other side makes it totally worth it.

Bottom line: come for the view, stay for the food, leave feeling like the main character. 🌟

I arrived, seated and ordered at 1:50pm at 2:50pm finally received our food. The pasta was cold and the chicken Parmesan was over cooked and burnt.

The server was super nice and was apologetic, but having to wait an hour for 2 kids meals, 1 burger and a chicken Parmesan only to have the pasta on the parm to be cold and the chicken burnt is kinda ridiculous…

Kitchen staff needs to be managed better to ensure food standards are par to go out. Tickets going out to people seated and ordered after us.

Taste wise, food was average… nothing to write home about.

So lovely! Stopped here on a drive down from whistler and it did not disappoint. The food was great but the best part has got to be the location. A beautiful view, even saw some bald eagles out! Whether you are a squamish local or just passing through, check this place out.

Great atmosphere with extremely delicious and fresh food. Loved the staffs friendliness and prompt service. Most importantly, the restaurant is located on the best spot it could be. Layed back, chill cafe with great view and delicious food.
Below, we had the chicken & Brie burger and chicken wings.

The service is sometimes really slow, but if you're not starving or in a rush the food is great and the view is too!

If you happen to be in Squamish, (maybe taking the gondola ride, visiting Shannon Falls, or coming down from Whistler or up from Vancouver) this is a great spot to stop for lunch. It’s a little off the beaten path and it has limited parking, and it is a climb, (requiring navigating a good flight of stairs to access the patio) so it’s not “accessible”. The floors are worn, the staff are gracious and welcoming, the food was hearty and delicious, but my rating is as high as it is because of the view. Seated inside or on the patio you will look up and down the river and beyond to the mountain tops. It’s just a lovely place on a sunny day to fuel up and take a deep breath. Two recommendations on the menu: the tomato soup and the yam fries. Some photos, to enjoy!

The drive from Vancouver to Squamish was amazing, and we saw a bald eagle hunting for fish while we were eating. Our waiter was super friendly!

We went for dinner around 8 p.m., and I have to say — everything about this place was super nice. The staff were warm and welcoming, service was relaxed but attentive, and there’s plenty of parking just across the road.

The restaurant has a cozy vibe with outdoor patio heaters, and even though it was a cool October night, we chose to sit outside. You can just make out the river flowing right in front of the patio, which must look absolutely stunning during the day.

The food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. I even ordered tea afterward, and the presentation was perfect.

Highly recommend this spot — great atmosphere, friendly people, and incredible riverside setting. Definitely a must-visit when in Squamish or Brackendale.
