great stop after riding in cool weather
Great spot for a quick bite in Burns Lake.
Recommended!
Love this place. Wonderfully decorated. Cosy place and great coffee and food.
The coffee (decaf latte) was excellent, and I enjoyed the avocado toast with tomatoes for breakfast. Sarah was very friendly, service was quick, and prices are very reasonable. Recommended if you look for breakfast in Burns Lake or if you're passing through and want a quick meal, coffee or tea.
Yummy 😋
The owner is an absolute sweetheart with great staff and a very positive atmosphere. The food is always amazing, with my favourite being the quesadilla and their soups. Try to stop in for a meal every days off, and I am never disappointed.
The beef Dip and corn chowder were so delicious , and the Chai Latte was excellent as well 😍
Mushroom burger and coffee was really good.

If you're trying to figure out a good spot to stop and eat in Burns lake, The Eatery is that! The food was so delicious and fresh, and the London fogs were perfect!
The atmosphere is rustic and elegant with very friendly and helpful staff.
Bonus: I love that you can go next door to browse the artisan shop while you wait on your food! It's the full package experience, and for us it's a must when we're passing through town.

There were several staff working but there is no table side service. Though they were all quite pleasant, you have to go get your own menus, go place your order, go get your own sugar for coffee etc...like Starbucks. The food was decent but nothing special. The menu is out of date. The one thing I wanted is no longer available. We were told it hasn't been available for quite some time, they don't know why, and that it is the favourite of many customers and requested often. It was the spicy tuna pita panini. I had the turkey bunwich with cranberry and brie. It was all right. At least the bun was home made but nothing great. I had looked forward to trying this place for a while and was somewhat disappointed overall. My hubby had a burger - the fries were crinkle fries from a bag, not home made. The decor is nice, an upscale appeal but unfortunately the lack of service and mediocre food does not stand up to what they seem to be trying to achieve. They could very easily step up their game.

Restaurantji Recommends
My wife went in to order 2 lattes and to maybe order off the menu… the female server was cold and rude and would not make the lattes as she said she did not pay and there was no receipt… after I went in she said…oh I guess she did pay so now I will make the coffees with a smirk on her face. Now my wife is not white and the lady may have been a racist but this device was uncalled for esp. when she paid by credit card and gave her a tip of 15 percent and did not get her order. Will never recommend to anyone travelling through. We are not trash but regular people. My wife was a nurse and she was polite .

I had went to The Eatery Burns lake, and had ordered 4 sandwhiches and 4 drinks I had waited over 45 minutes for this order which is insane.. to add to it they forgot to charge me for 1 sandwhich which they made it feel like it was my fault... Extremely over priced food for what it's worth. Will not attend again !!
