Avoid the samosas $5.99 each for these and they served them cold.

Have been going to Horstings for our road trip lunches several times a year for over 20 years now. My kids have grown up with the apple orchard! Always our favorite fresh sammy stop. But gonna be honest, the last handful of times it has been seriously disappointing. Our most favorite fresh sandwiches in the land have been a let down. Not just the price, because a good sammy is worth the $$! Either the bread or bun has not been fresh or the toppings were skimpy. Just a few days ago I had both dry bread and my loaded veggie sandwich contained one (yup just one) slice of cucumber, 2 pickles, the thinnest slice of tomato you ever did see and they missed my spinach and peppers all together. Last time I paid $1.25 for some sprouts and I literally got 10 strings of sprout. I hope they read this and realize there are many of us “road trip regulars” that are all saying the same thing. We love your farm and we used to love your sandwiches!

Great fresh produce! Delicious milkshakes! A little pricey but worth it. 😘

Must stop for some fresh baked goods and fruits! Popular tourist stop.

We try and stop by for a sandwich and a slice of pie every time we drive by.

What a treat! If you can’t find something you like here you are way too fussy. The outstanding find was the massive cinnamon bun; warm, buttery and full of raisins. Possibly the best we’ve ever had, and best deal. And we try cinnamon buns whenever we find the fresh baked. Also real fruit ice cream! Definitely worth the stop if you are passing through Cache Creek!

Amazing, fresh vegetables and fruit, great local and farm made items. Baked goods that are scrumptious and large portioned! A definite place will return to again!

The sandwiches are very good – but to be honest, I find them a bit too pricey. As a European, I can easily get better ones at home. However, the cinnamon rolls are to die for – I’ve never had a better one! The shop also offers a very nice selection of fresh fruits and vegetables at reasonable prices.
