My partner and I have eaten at an influx of high end restaurants across the globe. This was BY far our favourite. The food was incredible, the waitress was extremely personable and professional and the log building itself was stunning. We will absolutely be coming back to Campbell river and staying here just to enjoy this restaurant again.

Only one waitress on for a busy restaurant. She was great but it was obviously slow. Both the duck and salmon were overcooked. Overall an average experience. Would not return.

Beautiful rustic lodge feel with an ocean view. Food was average. Portions are small and nothing exciting or unique for such a Beautiful venue. The brie and apple stuffed French toast was legendary and they got rid of it for an oat crusted French toast that sounds good but is very difficult to eat. Dry and chunky and kind of an odd choice.

We came with a party of 10 to celebrate our Dads birthday tonight. The service and food were top notch!Very personable, attentive and fun staff. The food was excellent! Steak was cooked perfectly. Pasta was dynamite. Salmon had a perfect glaze.Make sure to get the Tuna Tatare appetizer, it was 11/10. Thank you for a great experience!

It was out first time eating here for breakfast as we stayed at the resort for the night. Absolutely loved it! Good homemade food, prices were reasonable and staff were so friendly. Will definitely return ?

In the past Anglers has been a great go-to spot for an enjoyable breakfast. Our latest experience could not have been much worse. My eggs Benedict, medium poached, was running all over the plate. The usual tasty potatoes were stone cold, replaced, and still cold. My wife’s chicken sausage was questionable and turned out she spent the rest of the day on the toilet. I don’t know what happened with the table behind us but the party left with their food hardly touched. A requested phone call from the manager went unheeded. We will not return, which is a shame as we have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

Service atmosphere and view spectacular. My pork ( special of the night) was thin cut, dry and inedible. The vegetable sides were excellent. The 3 other main courses were average. When I told staff ( not our server) about the pork he thanked me for my input.

Fresh, friendly, local and delicious - are the words that come to mind in describing Anglers. The menu is not huge - they chose to do a few things well rather that a lot of things badly. Anglers is located a little bit out of downtown at the Dolphins Resort, but well worth the trip. Ask to sit on the deck.
