So sad to see them closed permanently. Banners has been a fixture in CR for a long time. I always had good service, excellent food for the price. I'm keeping my discount card just in case...
Great food for breakfast. Had the breakfast wrap. Boyfriend had sctvle eggs ham, hash browns and toast. Will return.standard prices 12 to 16 a plate.good service. Waterfrilont view of ferry.
The staff there are racists against First Nations people, my husband & I experienced it & so did my in laws who are in their 80’s. They sat there for 40 mins & every waitress kept ignoring them, they finally got up & went somewhere else. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS ESTABLISHMENT THEY ARE RACISTS
always been my favorite family restaurant to come to since I was kid until even at this moment. good food and friendly service always. banners rocks
Large extra charges not shown on menu but added to final bill , missing items , just all around terrible
me and my grandfather have been going to banners for a few years now, it was a staple in our daily morning routine until covid hit, well we just ordered take out for the first time and it was great! love the staff and the environment! we definitely miss going in to eat but the food was just as good!!
Typical cafeteria food restaurant. Good staff
Solid breakfast for the price. Good service. Bottomless coffee.
Trip down nostalgia lane! I am a gen x'er and eating at Banners reminds me of my youth in the 80's, eating out with my grandpa. This diner has a very nice comfy vibe that makes you feel like you are in a place and time that no longer exists. The staff here is also great, friendly, authentic and open to chat. The food? it is decent, its not high end cuisine by any stretch, but is comfort food and served fairly quickly. Oddly I don't eat here for the food, although the food is good don't get me wrong, I eat here more for the feeling this establishment provides, something you can't put a price tag on. I'll take Banners over a trendy eatery any day of the week.
Burger was flatter then the McDonald's Patty. The sauce on the burger was watered down and it had a very ugly pickle. Nice cups. The staff and Waiters didn't offer anything or even waited.

Great place to stop by and have lunch, would highly recommend. Had an amazing omelette and pancakes.
Friendly and very good BT bennies
Low quality food and ingredients, hot sauce has gone stale and nobody has noticed. It'll do in a pinch but won't be my goto destination in Campbell river. Service came from 3 different people, so nobody really kept up on the coffee refills or checkups. Staff were all friendly on an end note !
Ordered a Banner Burger with fries and grave to help out this local buisness. I got my order, ate a bunch of frys n gravy. They where delicious!! I then took a bite of the Burger and knew right away something want right. The beef patties where mushy, tasted off, and smelled like beef when its turning bad. I told the waitress and said i would be happy to pay for the fries and grave. She said ok and went and told her manager. The "manager" came over and proclamed right away the beef patties where good and im wrong. I tried to smooth it over and said i would pay for the fries and gravy. She flat out refused and got snotty with me. So for that she gets a 1 star rating. I find joy in driving around Vancouver island trying signature burgers at local restaurants, Most are delicious, this was definitely not!
Banners is an old school experience. Really good food at reasonable pricing. I ordered a Rueben and asked for a couple pickles on the side ( New York style). I gor 3 breaded deep fried pickles that were awesome! They should add them to the menu. Congrats to a local restaurant in trying times.
