Came here about an hour and a half before a concert at the tidemark. The place was busy but there was room for us as the bar along the wall so we happily sat there. I am a short girl and kept sliding off the bar stool (it had an angled seat) and our waitress grabbed me a stool that had a flat top and foot rests. She then also offered for us to move to a table once it opened which we did! The food was great, we were torn between a couple different tap options so she let us sample them before committing. Everyone was friendly, the restaurant felt very clean and I enjoyed the vibe.

Came up from Victoria and looked for a nice place for dinner and a pint. Their website said open until 7pm Sunday, so perfect! Arrived at 5pm. Was told they were just closing. I was shocked. I pointed out the hours on their website and got the shoulder shrug. Asked where I could find their beer locally. Was told a tap room down the road. Great! Went there- nope. So, hours wrong and don't know where their own beer is sold. In a small market there are two big failures! Buck up. You need to do better!!!

The only brewery in Campbell River and definitely worth the visit. Chill vibe, excellent service and great beer. Halibut and potatoes was delicious. Highly recommended ??

Sat there for an afternoon with variety of beers. Very friendly Canadian service ( are they all lovely as I’m yet to meet a ruder server). Calamari was sublime it was wonderful and rest was nice.

Worth the stop! We were driving through on our way to Port McNeil and needed some lunch. Needed to find a dog friendly place. This was great!- food was delicious and clearly not an after thought like in some breweries. The Newton burger was delicious- especially the fig/stout sauce! Husband also really enjoyed the halibut. The duck fat potatoes were very tasty! Good beer and cider too. Quick service, portion size was spot on, plenty of free parking and a good sized patio for our pooch (with water available for him). Thank you! Will come again if/when we’re passing through!

I be loving the spicy calamari (best I've had in some time). Also,the hazy, peachy beer was both very good.
Try the smoked salmon artichoke dip too; it's to die for; I will be back!
Prices are very reasonable, esp for this home cooked awesomeness.

Also, ignore the person who carried a toy poodle whining pretentiously about the place; real dogs aren't carried; real dog owners follow rules established by the health authority. :)

Service was extremely slow. Took about 30 minutes just for someone to talk to us and when they did they pretty much just said take a seat whenever is open. Server was impatient and we didn't feel welcomed when we were finally seated. Other people who came in afterward us were seated and got their drinks before we were even waited on. The drinks we ordered were nothing to write home about and food was alright.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! The beer was outstanding, and the calamari was the best on the island—perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. A must-visit spot for anyone looking to enjoy top-notch food and drink. Five stars!

I have been a frequent for a few years now and have noticed the service decline rapidly.. It took just about 20min for a server to acknowledge we were there and offer to take our order and after she took our order she forgot one of our beers. I miss the older servers, not sure where you are but please come back!
