Well, we went there for the buffet but there wasn't one because they were short staffed. So, we ordered off the menu. Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Chow Mein and Sweet n Sour Pork. The rice and chow mein were somewhat bland and the pork was ordinary. The service was excellent though.

The food was really bad.The chicken was rock hard I couldn't even cut through it with a fork and knife. The beef was the same. The only thing that was somewhat edible was the chow mein

Food was super dry and Chicken chow mein, poorly made. The deep fried wontons, were basically deep fried wonton wrappers as the meat enclosed pea sized and were ridiculously small.

It's disgusting!!I ordered prawns that I could barely chew as the were way over cooked and had a ton of batter. The rice is half cooked...the almond chicken is skinny and battered. It just aweful!! The worst meal I have had!!? I'm gonna order something else, but not from there! Just gross!!

My husband has very high Chinese food standards. I've never been a fan of Chinese food in general, but we both enjoyed our dinner. We will go back. Service is really fast.

We ordered two of the combo dinners to go. When we opened the containers, we found the portions to be small. There was plenty of rice and noodles, but very little of the sweet and sour pork or the prawns. The flavours were very bland. The fried rice was so old/stale that we couldn't eat it. It actually smelled rotten. The chow mein was much the same. Yuk! So tired of being cheated when ordering take out. Also, the food was super expensive. The place was empty. No wonder! We will never go back.
I’m in town from the Lower Mainland for work and have been struggling for decent take-out food. I had hoped Best Wok would change that, but I was wrong. I ordered the chicken chow mein and sweet and sour boneless pork. The noodles in the chow mein were tender, but cut into short strands and the chicken was dry and tasted over cooked. The sweet and sour boneless pork was dry and the flavour was off.If you’re in a pinch for Chinese food, I imagine there are some other decent dishes offered, but these were underwhelming.

Nope never again. We were a family of 5 and ordered a large wonton soup. Came out with a soup spoon, not a ladle. Had to ask for bowls. Ordered wings for everyone to share, had to ask for plates. Wontons were mush. Wings were over battered. Ordered dinner for 2 deluxe and lemon chicken. Lemon chicken looked great, just had a bit too much batter which you could taste because it wasnt crispy the wrong way through. Deluxe chow mein was meh. Best wok stirfry was the best part, veg was crisp and cooked perfect with chicken and shrimp.Soy sauce at the table was old, you can tell because soy sauce thickens as it ages. They gave packages of hot sauce which was also old because it was brown instead of red.We were visiting from the mainland so perhaps our taste is different since there’s so many options here?

I just moved to Campbell River and chose this restaurant at random, and I’m so glad I did! The food was excellent, prices reasonable and the staff were very friendly, even though I placed a take out order just 10 mins before closing. I love their decor in their restaurant and will not hesitate use use them again or recommend them to others, whether I placing another take out order or dining in their restaurant. ??
