A great, authentic stop by the water with amazing, local seafood dishes.
Our sons liked watching the live crab, shrimp and lobster in the tanks right inside the door.
My wife had the lobster roll and said it was amazing. Highly recommended.
Crabby Bob’s Seafood is a must-visit in Campbell River! The seafood chowder was absolutely unreal—rich, creamy, and packed with fresh local seafood. Enjoying it on the dockside patio with ocean views made the experience even more special. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the warm, community vibe. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, don’t miss this gem!
Friendly staff, super fresh oysters.
The food was good, but by far too expensive for the quantity. Around 45$ for a meal and still being hungry isn’t normal
What a great little shop, highly recommend
Crabby Bob’s Seafood Inc – Honest Review
I had high expectations for Crabby Bob’s after hearing so many great things, but unfortunately, my experience was a mixed bag.
The prawns were absolutely unreal—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Easily some of the best I’ve had. But the crab was a huge letdown. It looked like a big, meaty catch, but when I cracked it open, there was almost nothing inside. For the price I paid, it felt like I got ripped off.
I get that seafood can be hit or miss, but when you’re paying a premium, you expect a certain level of quality. If the crab had lived up to the hype, this would have been a five-star experience. As it stands, the prawns saved the day, but I left feeling disappointed.
A great restaurant to go to.
Best local seafood around and great service!
November 28th I got a seafood platter from crabby Bob's, I just want to say that it was absolutely delicious. My wife and I really enjoyed it. I didn't get her name, but thank you for putting our platter together.
Plenty of live Dungeness crab. Candied salmon and frozen seafood.

Fantastic big juicy fat prawns and knowledgeable staff make this your number one stop shop for seafood. All the fresh and frozen choices make it an easy shopping experience.
The seafood boil is great ! Highly recommend for a small group !! Abby is a gem !!
This is a little seafood shack right on the docs next to Discovery pier. You can get fresh seafood to take home or back to your hotel but they also have a little kitchen and a few tables right there were you can order from a fairly good sized menu. We had a crab platter and some chowder. The chowder was a bit "thin" for my liking. Decent flavour but lacking the chunks of seafood I would have liked. The crab platter was better and I thought offered good value. Great to sit out on the dock and eat seafood as fresh as it gets. Pro-tip: grab an ice cream from Discovery pier after you eat and then stroll along the pier!

EXPERIENCE GOING TO HEAVEN! The seafood chowder is lovingly prepared. Avoid eating any other restaurants corn starchy goo, stuffed with potatoes and made with the dreaded farm seafood. This is an authentic herbed masterpiece. The bread is even from a baker that knows that day old sickly dough, will not be tolerated by a hungry sailor. Well Done! ♥.X.O New Regular Consumer
