The hotel looks a little tired from the outside but I was very pleasantly surprised when I checked in. The interior was very clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was excellent, our server, Jo, was very pleasant and advised us on places to visit.
Ricky was also very friendly and efficient. Our room on the 5 floor was a good size with an excellent view. I would certainly stay here again.

The chowder is absolutely phenomenal here… please never get rid of it. The greens salad is fantastic, not just a boring greens salad with minimal ingredients like a lot of restaurants, they actually try with theirs and it has fantastic ingredients, the chicken tenders are also veryyy good! (The continental breakfast is meh)

Relaxing atmosphere. Went to Happy hour Friday afternoon and served by smiling pleasant young lady Shianne. Couldn’t do enough for us. Just lovely!
We then went to the Restaurant for dinner and the rib eye was cooked the best we’ve ever had and we’ve just been on the Rocky Mountaineer Train and Zaandam Cruise ship and this was the best steak we’ve had. Compliments to the chef and the lovely waitresses - especially Shianne. Thankyou highly recommended.

The food was great and the service too. The seafood linguine was awesome. The cup of seafood chowder was delicious, and the steak was very good! All in all great place to eat.

Alvin is amazing with flowers, Ian is so personable and accommodating. This restaurant makes excellent nachos and the bar is a very great convenience for locals and hotel gusts.

We had hotel breakfast included, quite decent, the sausages were very good and the lady in the kitchen was careful to refill if anything was empty, which I appreciated.The dishes are quite basic but functional, we did not leave hungry, they include fruit, yogurt and banana bread.

The dinner waitress is so friendly and great!The clam chowder is excellent; the quality of the chowder made us excited for the rest of our meal. However, my ribs were dry/overcooked and over seasoned, vegetables were super salty, fish n chips were greasy.

Food was decent but the two servers were all over the place. We got asked for our order twice and everything was just a bit of a mess. But the servers were both extremely nice and I would definitely give it another try.. may have just been an off

Salmon Burger & Fries were amazing!! Steaks, appetizers, & mains were all so good. They have a scratch kitchen & great service! The head chef came to our table to ensure dietary restrictions were looked after. The patio was a lovely atmosphere. This is the first time we’ve ever been there, and we will return often! I believe the fish was fresh/local and their fries are the best I’ve had in a long while! What a perfectly hidden little gem! And drinks are low-priced! So fun! And so close to the water/marina/park, it’s an ideal dinner place! Thanks Ian & Jarrit! See you again!

Vegetarian options: The chef had many options of veg and dairy-free rice, etc.

Kid-friendliness: Our toddler ran around and yelled and ate and was a happy boy! The halls were empty so he got to run off his energy!
