Needs employees who can count.. wasted 16 bucks on a 6 piece strip meal and they thought 6 was 3.. 3 strips for 16 bucks isnt worth it. Wont be coming back ever again ill save DQ for Courtenay or other places that do not try to rip off customers by selling them 3 strips. Save your money ppl dont go here!

Food generally good but some items seem to be downsized. Chicken strips are almost the size of nuggets and the hamburgers seem smaller. Nice staff, clean location, lots of parking.

Stopped tonite for 2 ice cream treats. Because the order in front of me took so long I ended up drinking my treat. It took 9 minutes from the time I ordered until the time I got it with only one car ahead of me. I would suggest that the ice cream treat is not made as soon as ordered or put in a freezer.

We used to get the 7$ meal 4x a week.then they made it 8$ which was fine to cover inflation but now they took off the lettuce and tomato off the burger and charge you a dollar for each to put it back on for 5 flakes of lettuce and a thin piece of tomato. So the value is gone.i got 17 family members and 20 friends who stopped going to dq. Wendy's junior bacon cheeseburgers are a way better deal and have the lettuce,tomato,cheese and bacon for 2.49. Really dissapointed.

Normally the experience we have going through the drive through here is good but tonight not so much. I tried ordering a Misty Freeze (slushy/ice cream) drink and requested to have it made with less ice cream and not not be so thick. I was told no problem. They gave me my drink and immediately I noticed that it was still so thick that I could turn it upside down like a blizzard and nothing would drip or fall out. I tried asking for a bit more slush in a cup to add to it so I could drink it through a straw but was confronted by someone I assume maybe was the manager or supervisor standing back from the window telling me i am causing a problem and wrong for asking for a drink to be made with less ice cream. She told me that no matter how much ice cream they put in the drink it would always be thick like that. She told me that she made the drink the way she likes it with less ice cream. What about the way I would like it? I asked it if I could request it next time with 1/2 or 1/4 the ice cream portion if I wanted even thinner than this time. She told me that I was mad at her and would be better off just ordering an ice cream and a slushy separately and mixing it myself. At this point I just gave up. Apparently trying to ask for less of an expensive ingredient in one of the products is a massive issue at this location. I have had no issues requesting the drink the way I like it in Nanaimo when working down there.

I’m not happy with my meal I got at all because they forgot my sauce and gravy so it’s very dry. And I found two pieces of hair in my food. Which is very unacceptable and very disgusting to have hair on my food ??

When we go as just 2 people everything is great. However, when I order for the whole family, there is either something wrong with the order, or something missing. I know it can be chaotic with a larger order but maybe slow down and take some care please. Great staff and always friendly.
