Absolutely the Best Fish & Chips Experience!

Dik’s Fish & Chips is truly a hidden gem and one of the best places I’ve ever visited for fish and chips. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and polite, and they treat you like a valued guest every single time.

The food is on a whole different level. The fish is perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside—fresh, flavorful, and always cooked just right. The batter is light, golden, and never greasy. The fries are amazing as well: hot, crunchy, and seasoned perfectly. Everything comes out fresh, not sitting around, and you can tell they care about quality in every single plate.

Portions are generous, prices are fair, and you can taste the passion they put into their food. The place is clean, organized, and comfortable, making it a great spot for families, lunch breaks, or a casual dinner.

I’ve tried many fish & chip places before, but nothing comes close to the consistency, taste, and service at Dik’s. They truly go above and beyond to make sure every customer leaves happy.

Highly recommended to anyone looking for delicious, authentic, high-quality fish and chips. This is my go-to place, and I will definitely keep coming back!

During my stay in Campbell River, I had some chowder from other restaurants but yours was the best!

Decent place, good fries in a Cone oysters were fried and wife liked her shrimp 🍤. Lunch was good and loved the spray bottles with vinegars in them as its clever and innovative 💡.

Worst fish and chips ever tried while passing through Campbell River. These folks were rude. When I asked for my order, the cashier went into the kitchen and used bare hands to put the fish in the fryer, and sold me burnt fries even though I told them these are burned.

We walked in and greeted the staff politely, but there was no warm welcome. While we were still deciding what to order, we were laughed at, which felt uncomfortable. The place itself didn’t feel very inviting, so we decided not to stay. Sadly, not the experience we had hoped for.

Love this greasy spoon hole in the wall! If you're looking for upscale, this isn't it. But the food is delicious and, as a severely sensitive celiac, I felt very safe dining here. They offer gluten free fish and chips prepared in a separate dedicated area and deep fryer. The GF batter is crispy, light, and not a bit gummy or too greasy. It was such a treat, we ate here twice during our trip to Campbell River. Tried both the cod and salmon. Yum!
