My wife and I planned an evening to celebrate her birthday on Dec.14th. To make it short: We both ordered appetizers my wife's was average and mine(Escargot Bourguiqnonne) had to be sent back ,as it was not eatable. the mushrooms were like biting into bubblegum. The waiter did not appreciate me sending it back. The main meals arrived and my wife had Cordon blue which she said was average. I ordered Seafood Gratin. The angel hair was gummy. The vegetables were terrible. some way over cooked and some you couldn't cut with a knife. The waiter said he would bring more ice water three times and never did within about a 20 min period. Finally a young server brought some. The main waiter for our table showed absolutely no apology for the situation. The temperature in the restaurant was so warm that my wife had to ask the owner to please turn down the temp. Considering the prices on the menu, we expected a much better meal which I must say that in previous visits we did enjoy. In my personal opinion, the food has gone down hill and we will NOT BE EATING at this restaurant again. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Food was excellent, service above and beyond. On the water but should be on the upper floor to better the view.

Gosh I wanted to love this place. Great location. Great service! (Shout out to Lauren!). I will say the lamb was excellent. And maybe we just got the wrong things but my beef was not tasty (sorry) and my husband's seafood was also not delicious. Great wine selection!! So maybe go and be careful what you order. And get a bottle of their great wine!

Crab cakes and mushrooms for start were fantastic, Lovely flavours.I got the duck as a main which was cooked well and the cherry sauce was plenty flavoursome. My wife got the mini wellingtons and one was pretty burnt and one was great. We mentioned this to the service and the manager sorted this out for us asap which was good.Would be 5 stars apart from I wanted the Dungeness crab and chowder which was on the online menu but wasn’t on the menu I was given at the restaurant but then I later heard someone get offered the crab so maybe I just wasn’t offered the specials which is disappointing.

We had the Scallops for a appetizer. For the mains we had Duck breast and Halibut. Dessert was Creme brulee. All were very good. Nice view of Discovery harbor as you dine.

Very good, excellent service offering good steaks and fresh fish and seafood. Can't beat the ocean side location.

Nice enough atmosphere. The staff were very hardworking but it seemed a wee bit understaffed when we were there. A bit over rated for the $$$ in my opinion.

One of worst restaurant tried in British Columbia. The expensive menu is not correlated with quality of food, the services and general impression (e.g. you can not pay on the table with credit card). I complete disliked the mussels (my opinion it was frozen, the waiter said is from restaurant tank, more worst), the halibut (almonaide version) was so untasty, that I needed some drug to calm my stomach). The bad surprise in this precious restaurant is that you can not eat any salmon (the restaurant staff maybe need to read something about local history). The waiter was all the time missing from our table and desinteresed. I recommend strongly some courses for the service staff (minor things but esentials, e.g. without wipes after finishing the mussels). I don't know which was worst: the food or service. Both. In conclusion if you want to be a precious restaurant it is not enough to have an expensive menu. NOT recommended.

Was refused service by a glaring server, despite there being dozens of free tables. The only notable factor was that I was wearing pride gear. I suggested I was happy to just get an appy and a drink in case their kitchen was overwhelmed, and was told (falsely - I work in restaurants and am very familiar with liquor laws) that it was illegal to not get an entrée (which I was fine buying, but had already been all but asked to leave). I am extremely disappointed as we had come here for our anniversary and had a good experience, but we will not be returning.

Scott and his team did an absolute incredible job. Best restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time. Top notch service and the kitchen staff blew us away with their culinary skills. Our appetizers came up quickly and were excellent and our entrees came at an appropriate time later, despite two large parties ordering ahead of us. All of our entrees were exceptional! Nothing short of impressive on all accounts. They provided an experience I will be revelling in for years to come.
