Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

I had a very disappointing experience at Lee’s Famous Chicken in Campbell River. When I received my chicken box, the gravy, dips, and napkins were all thrown inside the box with the food—completely unsanitary. When I opened my meal, I found a napkin drenched in grease on top of my chicken.

When I brought this to the staff’s attention and asked for a replacement, I was offered a refund instead. I requested a new order, and within seconds, the employee returned and literally threw a new box on the table. I strongly suspect it was the same food simply transferred to a new box.

The service was unprofessional, and the food handling raised serious hygiene concerns. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location.

The young guys up front had great customer service. I got the three piece combo with strips and it came with gravy and a biscuit. The biscuit was a bit over cooked, the rest was awesome. There was a lot of food for 15$

Great fast food, but damn guys, I ordered a 11 dollar large 🍟, they put the gravy in the box. The gravy shouldn't fit in the box my guy, it should be full of fries.

I'm sorry guys. The first few years were phenomenal. I went there recently as treat as there are no good chicken places here.
Very disappointed in the sad pieces of chicken and the random batter that tried to cling.

Around noon today oct3 big nasty dark hair found in the potato wedges I almost puked. Through the whole meal in the garbage. Won't be back , disgusting!

We got the 10 piece original chicken combo with fries and gravy. The chicken was dry and small, it's like they were starved before killed. The gravy was lumpy and ummmmm non edible...fries were cold and not crunchy...my last name is Lee and even I can't defend this.

It's fried/baked chicken. The taste seemed a little bland but that could just be me or the mixture of herbs and spices that day.

Not as gut wrenchingly horrible as KFC but I've had better chicken from Quality Foods in Port Alberni. I'm going to try the Quality Foods here in Campbell River to see if they offer it.

Saving grace? They have a pet friendly patio out front.

Ordered via Skip but part of the order was not included or delivered. I called Lees to tell them and was told not there problem but to contact Skip…..they took no responsibility nor offered any assistance. Not impressed.
