Moxies Campbell River Restaurant

The service was disappointing. The staff at the door and our server seemed to have a rather unfriendly attitude, which affected the overall experience.

I had an amazing experience with our bartender Tristen! I was indecisive on whether to get the Moxie Mule or the Smoked Old Fashioned. He was very knowledgeable with both and helped me with my decision (ended up having both lol) he was very outgoing and easy to talk to! Would definitely come back!

Came in tonight for a couple drinks and wow what an experience. I had an excellent time having convos with Tristan, really chill guy who knows lots about sports! The night took a turn and he had to deal with an unpleasant customer and he showed incredible professionalism handling the wild guy.

I will be returning and if you have a chance to be served by Tristan, it will make your night!

The establishment has no problem taking your money , but when your taxi is 20 minutes away and your go back in for a casual drink they deny you l, although you've spent $400 plus and tipped %18 on top if that. Not a great experience. The 2nd poor experience in fact.

Lovely space. We went after the lunch rush and got terrible service and reheated food from the microwave. Do not recommend this overpriced restaurant.

We can't give a review to the kitchen as we didn't try it !
We came at 8:45pm this day. The lady was rude. Asked her what beer she had on tap. Answered in a hurry. She just want to get home I guess. We left the premises as we didn't feel welcomed.
I will just recommend this young lady to find another job as she is very bad in customer service... Go to "the match" instead really good service !

We were a table of nine and four of us ordered the beef dip. The o’jou was wonderful but the beef was full of gristle and almost impossible to chew. Not worth the $25 we were charged for it. My food arrived ten minutes after everyone else and two of our party ordered the soup and one got a cup and one got a bowl though both had ordered bowls. Not impressed and will not recommend at all.

I haven’t been to this location in a couple years and my wife and I were in town late so decided to stop in for dinner. I ordered the Vindaloo which is one of my favorites and it wasn’t very good. The beef was obviously a terrible cut and it was super hard and chewy. The service was really bad as well. Our waitress was more interested in chatting with her friends at a booth than doing her job. That’s fine, Moxies is not cheap and I’ll be sure to go somewhere else next time with prompt service and quality food.

Moxies is a great eatery for families. The menu provides a good selection for any taste with red meat, chicken fish, vegetarian and vegan options. Waiters are friendly and efficient and well trained for the environment. Parking close to the restaurant is very good. The quality of food is appropriate for the type of eatery and overall provides value for money spent. Booth seating is a bit awkward.
