Quay West has gotten better recently, in my opinion. They have my favorite calamari in CR. The Seafood Hot Pot did lack a bit to be desired for the price (potatoes mixed with seafood are also not my favorite..) otherwise food was great. Required 6 times the original ration of ketchup to get through the fries... everywhere that doesn't provide a bottle of ketchup with an order of french fries needs to realize individual ketchup portions do not constitute a fine dining experience. #bringthebottleback.

I had fish and chips it was very good!! It was a very SMALL piece of fish, which was very disappointing as I was hungry.
We ate lunch during our tour. It was very good, we ate a chicken burger with cheesecake which was excellent. It was a very good meal. Restaurant with a beautiful view of the port.

Had a great experience, friendly service and an excellent salmon. The salmon was served on a plank with maple diijon butter, rice and veggies. Enjoyed a nice day on the patio by the harbor.

Beautiful food, incredible views!! Perfect location and choice as a tourist! What a great experience! HIGHLY recommend!!
(Need the service to pick up a bit, must have been 7 servers and 6 tables, and we still waited forever to give our order. This is an easy fix, and the place is wonderful —
Beyond 5 stars!)
Our first visit to this restaurant. We were promptly greeted and asked whether we've preference for indoor or outdoor seating. Love the warm and friendly service. Once seated, servers came promptly with water and menus and started introducing their daily specials. All our orders were served promptly and everything tasted great! ? At least 2 different staffs dropped by to enquire if everything was alright during our meal. The tables were well spaced apart and restaurant is well cleaned. Eating alongside seaview is always a nice experience. Great service, great food, and great ambience!

Came here for my wife's birthday dinner after a full day at Little Huson Caves!
Staff and view were excellent. Very attentive and welcoming staff. No issues there at all. However the food was beyond disappointing. I ordered the tequila and lime marinated pork loin scallopine. The menu said it comes with chef's choice of potatoes and veg. Mine came with 5 green beans. I asked for the rest of my meal and got over salted mashed potatoes. The pork was dry and did not taste at all like lime or tequila, it was very salty. The mango chutney was how I was able to choke down this $30 meal.
My wife ordered the seafood fettuccine. It was the blandest thing we've both ever tasted. The sauce had 0 flavor and my wife commented that the mashed potatoes were better than her entire meal because at least they had salt. The drinks were good. She got the island breeze and I had the ginger beer. I'm not sure if the chef was having a bad day or if the food is always this disappointing, but we did not enjoy or $85 meal. We tipped anyway because the servers were very nice.
