Last time we ate there I was served gristly charred beef ribs.
They must have not been watching cuz my order got over cooked so bad that anything left on the bone was tough gristly and hard. So instead of throwing it out and remaking it they just covered the whole bones with a lot of bbq sauce to try and mask it. I took one bite and got a mouth full of charred fatty bbq sauce coated ash. There was no meat on either bone just charred chunks. They did take it off the bill. But...
A well appointed oceanfront pub with a typical pub menu and good Happy Hour drink specials. Food quality and creativity is adequate although other marine pubs seem to offer more flavourful seafood options.
Servers are friendly and there are several long-serving staff members. Locals are recognized and acknowledged.
The ambiance and location are the primary highlights for Riptide. Live music Thursdays fill the room.

Had an after work drink with the crew on friday, wasnt prepared for the awedome bagpipe marching band experience! Absolutely loved listening to the players, and the buzz in the room was electric after wards. Our favourite pub for sure!
