It is the place to go for tacos, quesadias. I got the chicken burger and it was the best chicken burger I've ever had!

Oil needs to be changed in the fryer, and was not the right temperature.

Fries tasted bitter and greasy
Burger was dry and tasteless.

I was excited to try the food but very disappointed. Staff is friendly but the food is lacking. The portion for the price is atrocious!

I saw the manager was apologizing to a few other tables.

Time for new kitchen staff...

Either way a sad experience that leaves you hungry for more with the small portion size. If it weren't for the grease soaked fries I might have been able to eat dessert.

Feasted on Happy Hour appetizers and drinks on a Margarita Wednesday, and everything was fabulous. Wings and cauliflower bites were perfectly fried and tasted great, and the Margaritas (traditional lime shaken) were outstanding! Thanks to our server who was extremely helpful with a food allergy, and the kitchen staff for being g so diligent. Hope to be back soon!

WOW ? Came in tonight for the beet salad now that she’s back on the winter menu (FINALLY!!!) and tried to new hot chicken sandwhich and my hubby said it was the best chicken burger ever! My mango margs were over flowing and out waiter in the lounge was 10/10 as he always is. We love socal for our date nights

We enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service at this restaurant.
The burgers were amazing, my wife really enjoyed the beet salads and another person in our party enjoyed the fish and chips.

Best wings ever. Had the dry wings and they where cooked exactly right. Moist and the breading was delicious. Also ordered nacho plate and it was huge. My wife has fish allergy and they went out of their way to accomodate her. Thank-you.

On the menu, it said fresh food ???
The food tasted like frozen food and cooked in the microwave.
I said to the waitress that I was allergic to the spicy sauce or spicy food. The waitress was not friendly, and she didn't pay attention. Anyway, I ordered Half ribs and chicken, priced at $34, for this price, half ribs and a chicken piece and french fries, you expect fresh food well cooked. In fact on the chicken spicy sauce that I couldn't eat, I called politely the waitress because of the spicy sauce on top of the chicken, she picked up my plate and back 10 minutes later with no sauce on the chicken, I was so disappointed that I would not recommend this restaurant.

Live music, cozy atmosphere, great food and company - the SoCal in Campbell river has something for everyone, from handhelds to skillets and more! I had their al pastor tacos which came absolutely stuffed to the brim with pulled pork, pineapple salsa and Mexican slaw - paired with a couple of cosmos to wash them down. The lady had their taco plate (which she chose chicken as her protein) and crispy golden tots as a side - which she so generously shared with me. We then tied the night off with deep fried, cinnamon sugar topped cheesecake with vanilla ice cream and strawberry drizzle - absolutely heavenly. 10/10 would come all this way for the sights and stay for the food. Stay hungry my friends.
