Steiner’s make the most amazing cupcakes. I have had them several times instead of birthday cakes. Never a crumb left. Oops.. there is no crumbs as it is all fruit and desert.

Oh oh something went wrong! We purchased a bee sting cake and our cookies and stolen as is our Christmas tradition all was delicious as usual, on Christmas Eve I brought the bee sting to our daughters . Unfortunately the bottom sponge was like eating a hockey puck who ever baked the morning of the 23 rd had a bad day and the cake was inedible. That was the only time I have had a poor product there . Boss not there!?

Great place to stop for fresh bread and baked goods, or for sandwiches for a day out. Our sandwiches were lovely, and came with a free cookie (oatmeal raspberry was our favourite). An absolute gem.
My go to breakfast spot in Campbell River since sometime in the 80s. Try the apple fritter... Or the almond croissant. Heck, try everything! Sure do miss the butter horns though 😕

The pastries are 3 stars, but I’m taking off another star for the poor service. The pastries were low quality in both appearance and taste. The staff acted as though they were doing a favor by packing sandwiches and baked goods to go, even though it’s not difficult. I live in Campbell River, and I won’t be returning.
