Sushi Mong is the go-to place for sushi in Campbell River and it's a great experience. The food was fresh, the price affordable and they had a wide variety. The daily special was excellent and a great value. The place is clean, spacious and had no issues accomodating a larger group (about 10 people). Located downtown, it's a short walk to the pier and other attractions. Can't wait to visit again!

Wow! Pretty good! I got their Alaska Roll Combo and everything was great- scallops, too. Highly recommend opting for real crab ($6 extra) instead of imitation. Service was great. I’ll be back when I come back through Campbell River
The food is delicious, and the service is excellent and attentive.

The interior of this restaurant is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen in B.C. and the food was great!
We ordered a tempura udon, a dynamite roll and a California roll, along with a few other things. 10/10

First time ordering from
Here. Sushi was okay, my sunamono salad tasted like chlorine and for some reason they could only cook the grilled tuna well done. The croquettes were good though.

Very nice sushi restaurant in Campbell River BC. The food was excellent with great flavor and presentation. I had a dragon roll, and my husband had the chicken katsu Don. Food was presented in a timely manner.
The atmosphere was confusing; the place is decorated in fake cherry blossoms and has a strong sweet order. NOT OK.

Ordered out from Sushi Mong today, and to be honest it wasn't as good as it has been in the past. I ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl and it really didn't live up to the $32 I paid. For one thing... the bowl didn't come with beans (I expected edamame when they said beans) but it came with peas instead. I asked for half rice and half lettuce, got maybe 1/4 rice and mostly lettuce. For me to be paying the amount I am for this bowl... I expected so much more. I get the economy is rough out there right now... but this was lackluster.

Delicious food. Best gomae I've had, the agadashi tofu was fantastic as well. And they had soy paper for the sushi. Service was pleasant although quite inexperienced
Restaurant was a curious mix of old sports bar tables and booths with nice touches such as fake cherry blossoms along the ceiling and wall. It was cute.
All in all, new favourite in CR!
