The lighting was dim, and there was a strange smell. The tempura were bland, and the beef was so thin that I was completely unsatisfied.

I eat a lot of sushi, from many restaurant and many countries. This is routinely the spot every place I go compares to. I think it is my favourite sushi restaurant of all time.

We go often, and whenever family is in town we take them. Couldn't recommend more.

Clean and tasty. All staffs were friendly. I see they work as a good team. I enjoy the beef top rice, should have had with veggies.

Excellent place to eat some amazing menu items. Love going here and it's snuggled into the downtown area of campbell river perfect for before or after a day of shopping .

Pretty little restaurant with white paper lanterns and pink plum blossoms everywhere. Lots of booth seating and low lighting. Date night vibes but also large booth available for groups of 6 to 10. Service is young and inexperienced but friendly and polite. Great appys and tasty rolls. The sashimi was not quite right though. 2 concerns. #1 a handfull of pieces were cut along the grain, making some fish pieces tough. #2 The shrimp was not as fresh as it could have been. Slightly slimy and mushy. I do not recommend this premium sashimi plate for $60+. Stick with the other items.

Note: miso soup is on the salty and fishy side. Little to no seaweed or tofu in the 4 bowls we received. For those that don't know me, I know miso. I eat and cook with alot of soy and miso. 20% of restaurants make miso soup too bland. 10% make it too salty.

Getting the bill also took a long time. Our family all left for the car and still no one brought the bill 2x after we asked. We had to walk to the counter for a staffer to print the bill.

The Korean beef, Grenade (deep fried avocado) and the salad were major hits.

Ordered the Udon dish on skip, was told to use their site for better prices. My order came with a Withers.

I only got a pickup order, but the staff are friendly, the atmosphere from what I saw is amazing, loved the decor.

11/10 I got a Withers, really what more do you need to know?
