Was rather mid. We had a reservation so they had plenty of heads up, I think they could have tidied up a little more around our tables before we showed up. Food was good enough although only “White Spot” level of flavour. Sarah was a very accommodating waitress for our crowd of 20, an extra star for her!

the food was warm, & bland at best. My partner said her chicken fingers were overcooked, + more then likely reheated.
I also asked for water 2x and they never ended up getting it. such a waste of money time, we have always had a great experience at the white spot in Courtenay so maybe our expectations were to high or something.
I get that it’s a lower end restaurant but, if your staff has issues getting a simple cup water, then maybe new management needs to come in. we also usually tip well as we like to pay cash, i would have had better service at wendy’s so our waiter got exact change.
i definitely won’t be coming back, i recommend this place if you want a mid meal, & terrible customer service especially if your young.
i must add the table next to us, were asked how everything was tasting if they needed refills & etc. we had the same waiter, and she was not at as attentive as they were with them with us. i get my partner and i are young, but it is genuinely not an excuse for terrible customer service. so to the waiter, that had served us if your wondering why u did not get a tip theirs your answer and please do some introspection.
i also over heard the staff gossip about customers they had and there orders which i found quite interesting.
so to the management if your wondering why you guys aren’t busy constantly, your bottleneck is your staff. the culture your staff has created, a costumer should not have ask for a simple glass of water more than once. especially too 2 different people.
basic leadership needs to come in to play and have a good word with the staff. they weren’t busy maybe 8-10 tables at most.

I ordered the Heat & Eat turkey dinner from White Spot this Thanksgiving and OMG — it was one of the best turkey dinners I’ve had in years! As a single person, cooking a full Thanksgiving or Christmas meal is just way too much, so having such a high-quality, delicious option that I can simply heat up at home is amazing.
Thank you, White Spot, for offering this! It made my holiday so much easier and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

Me and two friends dined in for brunch, had a great welcoming by our friendly hostess, place was decently busy, me and my two friends ordered, and our server had less then desirable customer service skills, she constantly cut us off when we were asking questions, had no sense of manners, and also left a tray full of dirty plates beside our table the entire time we were there. Would go back for the good food, but not ever wanting this particular server again.
Didn’t get a tip from any of us, but we made sure to personally tip out our hostess for her good customer service when greeting us at the door

White spot always feels like an excellent choice. The quality is always consistent. The restaurant was very very busy and the service was still excellent. We even watched an interaction where the customer was rude (don't know why or any of the circumstance) and the server was polite, pleasant and solution focuses through the whole encounter. She then apologized to us for our wait and seemed very relieved when we were very easy going. No pressure from us, but great job managing a stressful situation!

Terrible food experience. I came in and ordered what my family has always loved —zucchini sticks. They were awful —too salty and no breaded crunch. We complained
Immediately and never offered a refund even as we were tossing it in the garbage. They've changed the menu into inedible creations

We ordered two burgers. With five minutes our order arrived. The beef patty was luke warm and half my fries were small end pieces. Paid the bill and tried telling the waitress about the food. Server was not helpful and did not pass on to the cook our concerns.
Today is Pirate Day, a day to raise funds for a charity. My family came to BC for the first time excited to support the cause and to try White Spot. Unfortunately it took about an hour to receive our order, we did not receive the right toppings and the service was inattentive. It is unfortunate.
